Wish I could hug the family of Naik MS Bhandari, especially his brave daughter Monika who he could never see. Behind her smile, I see and understand the pain and longing for her father. On Nov 5th, 1978, we were in their shoes receiving the 'mid-night knock' on the door. My dear uncle, a squadron leader in the IAF, an operation Meghdoot pioneer had died with his co-pilot as their heli crashed in a ravine in Kargil. Like Monika, his son was born a month later. While the hero and pride of our family had died, it was almost like he never left us. We felt his presence constantly and as our guardian angel, he guided us forward through the tragedy. I am sure Monika's dad watches over them with pride seeing them grow up so well!

My father awarded by senal medal .n I'm really proud of him ... ❤... .I hardly remember the face of my father coz on that time I'm just 2 year ..N now I'M 17...
