I’ve stayed at the south campground and I loved it, one of my favorites. When kayaking, should I be concerned about alligators? 🐊 awesome details to each campground, thanks

We've never seen any, but I'm sure they are there. We will be there again in February 🙂

I'm a local to this area. I have never seen gators in Karick Lake, but that does not mean they are not there. Now at nearby Hurricane Lake I had one approximately 7-foot swim up to my boat within 20 feet. Then he shot off like a torpedo toward a part of the lake that is stagnant with a lot of submerged timber and such.

LoL the beaches are the Destin, FL area. Henderson beach state park. Grayton beach state park and topsail state park are all in the area with beaches. We've been watching you guys for a few weeks now and really enjoy it 😃

We are at another state park in the area called Rocky Bayou right now but it's not a beach park. We go back to the real world tomorrow 😥
