Because there is a void behind the cupboards and a vent on the back of the van it was being sucked in from there. It has been cleaned up now and all the dusting issues have been resolved. Your dust from the rear of the shower will be from the external vent. Block the vent and install internal vents to stop condensation forming behind the shower cubicle

Evolve RV reached out to us within 2 hours of our video coming out. They are new owners of the company and have made changes to these issues and are now express posting everything we need to resolve what happened. Have you worked out were it's coming in we have done afew dusty roads nothing in van fridge vented internally only outside vent is range hood we tape it so far so good van is a Spinifex made in Brisbane hope you fixed it don't need that safe travels we don't have a dust suppression unit cheers

We have had a few vans now and the only one that had a dust suspension system was the Urban. They all had a bit of dust in it. It was just a small gap in the wheel arch that was letting it in. I’m sure all that dust would give you the sh1ts… we’ve just come back from all those areas and we did the Rio Tinto Rd 160km (I think) of red bull dust and not a spec of dust anywhere in our Titanium van… even on roads where where we forgot to turn our Carafan DRS on we were still dust free. I’m sure if you seal up every possible ingress point (which the factory should have done anyway) and perhaps install a Carafan, that should be the end of your problems. Safe travels

Bloody hell that dust..I just watched the video from the comfort of my cabin on a cruise ship west of Carnarvon…. The caravan manufacturer needs to be informed of the dust issue..not good for you..lucky Dave had the silicone!!!🙂🙂

There is a vent that faces the rear of the van and I think that might be the cause. Once I get back to the metro area I'll clean it up and re seal the wheel arches and along the back side of the van. Wow that’s terrible dust ingress, hope your silicone work has fixed the issue or cleaning up every stop will get old quickly. Definitely look at a dust suppression system will make your time much more enjoyable as all the great spots start with dirt roads.

Dave & Nic, I been following you guys for a while. Not trying to be a smartarse, but did you install a dust suppression system? We’ve just purchased a new van and installed a unit, but I’m concerned that it might not be enough. Would appreciate your thoughts and advice.

We have only had one van with a dust reduction system and yes they do let a bit of dust in. But we have over come that everything by finding where it is coming in and sealing that spot. We have had Evolve reach out to us and they are going to fix the problem. They are new owners and they didn't built this van we have but are willing to fix it. In our books the brand is only as good as its back up service and you can't do better than that. They have found the issues and fixed them now and are willing to make all the old vans right too. So make sure you have the back up support from the dealership. We have travelled a lot and found if the van is sealed right you shouldn't need a dust reduction system. We stopped to do our introduction to next episode at that spot where the train was because the trains in this region are huge and we wanted to show that ! Or where the railway crossing was ?
