The 1940s is probably the most interesting era to me, and as a makeup junkie I can't get enough of this style! And about the maybelline concealer, you can pull off the sponge and it still works. Lovely video xx

Hi! Gorgeous look and tutorial! To answer your question, when I think of the 2000 era, I see two icons, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, who had very easy makeup (dewy natural skin, sometimes a brown smoky eye, natural lip colour). In the 2010 era, I feel like it was the return of the lipstick and nails, especially bold colours, still with natural luminous skin and minimal makeup. I also feel that with the advent of YT tutorials, girls are much more done and have acquired a better home expertise at makeup. When I was younger, no one had brushes, or such professional tools...

This tutorial was full of information and intelligent and the makeup looked very nice too. I liked the way you explained the steps and I will totally check out some of your other tutorials. That maybelline concealer still dispenses product if you take the sponge off and I personally opened the whole top with a set of pliers and dispensed it into a pot for ease of use.

Removing the sponge is very easy and it still works. There's a thin tube that dispenses the product. LOVED the look :D
@WahaSawas10 жыл бұрын
I think the most defining aspect of the 2000s era make up is smoky eyes with lots of highlight and contour paired with either bright or nude lips. Neutral lip colours are not the most popular nowadays as I think. Fake tan is definitely a prominent trend now, but I think the very exaggerated tanned skin with very dark contour on the cheeks will be out of fashion very soon :)

How beautiful! I love this! It's probably my favorite era of makeup - so classy. I also loved the music in the background :) And to answer your question about what I think is today's makeup trends: hmm.. I think bold brows, perfectly contoured faces, and dramatic eye shadow colors are typical of many women today. Something interesting to think about!
