This was such a treat to watch. Your home looks like a beautiful boutique hotel. I think my fave space though is the master bathroom. A separate tub & shower is a dream of mine. Between the marble & the wood its a great unique mixture.

I don't know what it is about your design but it's just so gorgeous and cohesive. I love that you don't JUST use the 'on trend' materials in your designs, you always incorporate timeless coloures and features like marble and darker wood tones. I deffinitely agree with the bathroom swap for more light. I think the shelving above the bathrub is fantastic, it's value added that I'll replicate in my bathroom, thank you. I also like that the house is cohesive with it's materials while still having something different in every room. I didn't go with a double sink in my bathroom either...bench space, bench space, bench space! And a storage mirrored cabinet, when I went to buy mine people told me that I was crazy and too old fashioned....I adore your's. Also, the poem is one of my favourites.

What amazing, cozy and sophisticated spaces. I'm absolutely in love with it!! The staircase is so simple, airy and bright and the bedroom is so beautifully done. I have to say my favourite space is the master bathroom I love the marble and walnut combination with the gold finished accessories 😍. Such a great episode! Karin, I absolutely love how your house came out, I wouldn’t take anything away or add, it’s just so perfect. As a designer and successful woman you inspire me to become an interior designer myself, even though I took an interior design online course recently, I chose another path for a little while in my career for now because I am not sure the courses I took would be enough. But with you posting your beautiful works and process of working in the industry, makes me not forget my real passion and hopefully I will go back to studies or be able to find someone who would hire me with this very little experience. Wish you even more interesting projects to work on and more clients!

The kitchen and master bathroom are just S-E-X-Y! Never thought I’d describe rooms as such but yours are just that..absolutely stunning! How the millwork has been designed has given me some inspiration as to how I can design some interesting cabinetry storage solutions. I love the idea of taking the concept of the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling in the bathroom just as you did in the kitchen. It just makes a small space feel more spacious and luxurious.

Yaaaas Karin! I’m building my first home and went with one sink in my vanity- despite the pushy sales person trying to convince me otherwise. I think best design is design that suits one’s lifestyles. And in my and my husband’s case, we use the bathroom counters more than we use the sink.

I really loved the stair althought I'd have painted the railing black completely and maybe the raiser too instead of white to give the wood stair-floor a higher impact because there's so much white!
