I watched this video back in May 2022 from PA and is a large part of why I moved to Rincon in July 2022! I love it here!!!! But, who moves to GA in JULY? Me! This heat you spoke of in previous videos is NO JOKE. Holy moly I thought I knew what hot was! Yikes! But I'll take 2 months of heat over 5 months of snow ANY DAY! 😂 Thanks for all the advice, you were 100% on point with all of this aside from prices that are now 2023ified 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂

Bloomingdale is actually partly in Chatham and partly in Effingham. Also, Effingham is only partially dry. While, as stated, you can buy beer and wine at grocery/convenient stores in the county; there are also several bars that serve all kinds of wine, beer, and hard liquor. Also, there is literally a liquor store right on the Effingham/Chatham County line. Very convenient. And, I totally agree on the schools. I know many people who moved from Chatham to Effingahm specifically for the better schools. Effingham is growing so fast that they actually had to redistrict and also build a bigger elementary school in Rincon a few years ago. If one moves to the Effingham portion of Bloomingdale, it’s of particular interest to note that Marlow Elementary is the highest rated elementary school in Effingahm.

Do you know of any places that compare to say Mount Pleasant South Carolina or Isle of Palms South Carolina? I’m wanting to move to Georgia but something similar to those places

I don't know Isle of Palms but Mount Pleasant is a lot like some of the areas around Savannah. I'd look at Wilmington Island, Whitemarsh Island, or even Richmond Hill.

I can vouch. Most of places where she mentioned are still around 250-350. South side, Berwick area, Pooler, Richmond Hill

Right now it’s roughly $275k but depends on the neighborhood and size of the home.

Honestly since covid I’m not sure. The travel and hospitality industry was really hit hard, as you know. But manufacturing and housing are booming, so it depends on what line of work you’re in.
