Lark Voorhies & Maya Campbell used to be the “IT” girls for me ❤❤❤ they are so beautiful and were amazing actresses - I used to think they were so perfect - it’s so sad to find out how they struggled with mental disorders! I want to blame Hollywood and industry politics/culture so bad 😢 and the medication may or may not make matters worse but then again her diagnosis could very well explain how she was able to fully embody each and every role she had - that’s a lot on your mental, taking a character, evolving into that character, having to act out emotions over and over on film - on top of growing up in Hollywood seems like a lot to handle! Kudos to the people who have made it out unscathed but much love to all those who weren’t so lucky ❤

@@naturallyvdeb2040 I suspect a lot of empaths are generally introverts because it's too much being around others, feeling their energies, moods, etc. Even just going into a somewhat busy environment can be overwhelming for some. Ofc this is purely speculation, as idk for sure The Industry is a very damaging industry for young people and sensitive souls. It would be more rewarding for someone with narcissistic tendencies, as they crave attention and being in the spotlight.

When I say Lark Voorhies and Saved By the Bell were my childhood, I mean it. I was born in 88, and this show was what I watched every morning before school (reruns) and every Saturday morning for new episodes. I watched them go from middle school to high school to working at the beach over the summer to when they went to college. I always saw myself in Lark and loved the integrity of all the characters she played. She didn't mind her characters making mistakes if they learned something, but she never did anything just for shock factor.

Yes, my daughter suffered from bipolar, she has since passed. I miss her so much & wish I could have dealt better with her situation. It was very difficult & very hard to accept. I knew very little about mental illness. But now I can see it could happen to anyone!

Running I also helps with mental health she should take some boxing lessons and shooting lessons after everything she's gone through she's in Hollywood and you obviously can't trust nobody in Hollywood at least she can't she really should take up boxing to defend herself sending prayers for her to win and to heal in journey in her mental wellness to be healthy emotionally physically and spiritual and to surround herself with people who really care rooting for her peace and healing.

I had no idea Lark Voorhees was with Martin Lawrence. Then to find out he was really an awful person to her makes me sad for her. She is so pretty and talented, I feel bad that she went through all of that and had a hard time with the other girls on Saved by the bell. She was in a lot of series and movies I wish I would have seen too. I hope she is able to have a happy and peaceful life and that she stays on the light side of life. Whatever happened there, she was in a much more vulnerable position in that pairing. Martin was at the top of the A list back then, he was older, she was likely starting to develop mental problems, which often tend to show up in one's twenties. My mom is a paranoid schizophrenic. I try my best to stay away from any synthetic meds (THC, weed, etc) and do yoga, meditation, and study herbs. Even with herbs, I have to be careful because everyone body reacts differently to it. My attachments to people is minimal because I’m extremely sensitive. The only people in too attached to is my husband and kids. Definitely sending so much love and prayers for Larkin. I may not be in her shoes but I definitely understand!
