Okay but jokingly speaking, Foolish is the worst person to meet up with to try and keep a meet-up secret. Cause he usually streams everyday or at least tries to post a TikTok if his internet dies, so we get four whole days of no Foolish streams and his entire community is like "Yeah he's meeting up with someone." Also Karl 'swore' that they all would meet up if the image on r/place stayed up the whole time and it did so this is just them filling that end of the deal. XD

When Sapnap was talking about a teacher hating him, I can relate when specific teachers hate certain students for no reason at all. If a teacher who doesn't know how to teach, I'm surprised no one called him out to the principal. Anyone else agree to this at all?

I 100% believe that the limited bathroom passes in school are the reason so many people end up with UTIs. i know it literally scared my mom how infrequently i went to the bathroom throughout my schooling life. how do schools get away with that shit? now that i look back, it's so strange that i regularly went 8+ hours without going to the bathroom at all. my body had literally gotten used to that, which is very unhealthy. i always felt so bad for other people who frequently had to use the bathroom because of the way teachers treated us. in middle school and high school we got 5 passes per week that could be used on 3 things: bathroom, locker, and nurse. i went to the nurse quite a lot, but i generally went during passing period, so it wasn't *too* much of an issue for me. there were some teachers who had no problem writing a fresh pass if you were out of yours for the week, but other teachers were really shitty about it. in high school, specifically my junior year, the school started getting stricter on students needing passes to go anywhere. there were teachers who would let you go to the bathroom or whatever without a pass because the bathroom was across from the classroom or whatever, but the school started really cracking down on "roaming kids" which was inconvenient for teachers because theyd have to stop what theyre doing to write a pass. idk it's really so fucked how the schools make kids have a limited number of bathroom trips. the people with uteruses know what i mean when i say 5 passes per week IS NOT ENOUGH during periods. i avoided using the bathroom as much as possible because 1) i have gender dysphoria and 2) public bathrooms are gross especially school ones. BUT I COULDNT AVOID THEM DURING PERIODS. it was so awful and even more awful when a teacher wouldnt let you leave the classroom to go to the bathroom. why tf are we gatekeeping bathroom privileges that is so messed up

The one defence that people gave for limiting bathroom breaks is the fact that students are bumming off lessons or work. And to me, that’s stupid. Why does it literally matter to the teacher at all? If the kids are going to miss class, that’s on the student, not the teacher. How are the teachers going to back the refusal of bathrooms when students could bleed through sanitary products, get utis, have a stomach ache, etc in hopes to block the ONE time that ONE student goes to skip class. It really makes me angry because I know a lot of people that have issues that they need a bathroom to their access at any given point. And we shouldn’t have to get special permission, we shouldn’t have to jump through hoops like a circus animal to GO TO THE BATHROOM! 😔

I have forced myself to never go to the bathroom at school unless it's an emergency. I hate how awkward it is and there's never any paper towels or soap in the dispensers.

My fourth grade teacher had a policy where bathroom trips had to be 5 minutes or less. I couldn’t make that time limit because I had to use the nurse’s office bathroom, which was on the other side of the school. My “ingenious” solution? Not drinking any fluids for a full month and giving myself major constipation issues

First let me comment as a fan: love the podcast!! Now, let me comment as a current teacher: you’re absolutely right about the habits you create in middle school will take you through high school. I think you both prove that since it seemed you both worked hard in secondary school and now have excellent work habits to be your own boss. Bathroom issue: yeah kids abuse it but I don’t tell my students “no” unless they’ve broken my trust by clearly skipping class. Most of my students do actually have to go or yeah, they use it as a mini break but they’re not gone too long to where it would constitute “skipping class.” And lastly, some people just shouldn’t be teachers lol

24:20 I also took a bunch of BS classes my senior year. Took woodworking where I built a poker table as my project in the first two weeks and just played poker during class for the rest of the trimester. Plenty of aiding, mentorship (leave early to work, but I didn't actually have a job), and "team sports" at the end of the day where we just played dodgeball or "single elimination" as we called it because the administration had banned dodgeball. Then just left early after gym and played video games and earned credits for the privilege. I ALSO dropped out of college though so 🤷‍♂

OK Funny thing about this, none of my teachers let me go to the bathroom except for two of them, one of them who DON'T let me go is the class after lunch. But my art teacher actually understands and she says; "If your teacher won't let you go to the bathroom just literally walk out like you won't get in trouble if you need to use the bathroom," What a good teacher :)

oh gosh teh 'help me youre my teacher' hit too close to home. we have the worst teachers for our technical drawing class and there are three of those in our class but NONE of them can fucking explain for shit and this whole semester has literally been us self-learning. during the online classes they were like oh once classes start offline we'll be able to explain this better, but now they just slap us up with a couple of youtube videos and say try it out yourself like fucking hell man at least do the basics of your job and teach us something
