Am with you. I was lying under a duvet on a sofa at mates house, feeling like utter crap due to a flu/viral thing. We were catching up on that weeks MTV stuff he had recorded when Cowgirl came on, it was the only track that I can recall listening to that day. When the track had finished, I pulled my head back under the duvet, musing on what I had just heard and I'm still resonating from it.

I had a dream a couple mornings ago and wrote this to a friend : “I had a dream I was with Karl Hyde from Underworld in my pops kitchen. Awesome. I think most of us have our own interpretation of the lyrics but they always came secondary when lost in the moment, dancing. That feeling in a club when this was dropped, in the mid-90s. BOOM!!! I always thought Karl was saying "Inner rays are all love" 😀

Exactly! I recall that I previously pointed out on this channel something that Underworld didn't know when they mixed "Rez" and "Cowgirl" into "Rez Cowgirl", that in the USA, a "rez cowgirl" is short for "reservation cowgirl", a native American cowgirl. :-)

Underworld 1 will always be in my heart, But 2 didnt disappoint. DNBWMHM showed whatever they did, they did exceptionally.. Real Muso's is their DNA and traversed the Music scene to be again defining their own genre , distancing themselves from a industry that fked them over, one that the suits controlled and still dont understand.. It was Underworld II that was a big FK U! Love it.
