What an incredible piece of music. I was lucky to be at Sir Karl's 80th birthday celebration at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 10th March 2024. My grandson was playing trumpet. I fell in love with this piece of music and can't believe how beautiful it is. So emotional 😢❤

I am an ICU nurse. I wish, when we withdraw care from a patient and I stand there as I did this week as a person passes beyond, I wish I could share this piece of music with the gathered family members. It plays in my head. I know suffering is ending and the person will be whole again. It allows me to leave the family to be with their loved one and to be able to square my thoughts as I care for my other patient in the other room. God bless you Karl Jenkins.

Just heard this moving music on Classic FM radio and straight away it brought me to tears as it reminded me of my beloved mum who passed away in May last year. Your lovely mum was lucky to have you - what a special child you are. My brothers and me put my Mam into a home when she couldn’t be left alone any more because of her dementia (and drinking). She died in 2019 and I SO wish I’d been in a position to have had her with me. After the life she and my Dad gave us, it’s the least we could have done. After 2 or 3 notes of this I’m in floods of tears. At least my Mother had her faith to lean on. I wish I had that too, especially as I lost one of my sons in 2016. Wish with all my heart I’d be seeing him again. Heartbroken.

this song reminds me of my late grandad. he used to play it most of the time when i went to his house after school, or when i just went to see him. this piece of music brings back so many lovely memories and i can’t thank it enough. it’s so enchanting and beautiful. you could listen to this on repeat and never get bored of it. it calms your nerves and your brain, it takes you to a different place. it’s majestical. i feel like i’ve been taken away from the world and it’s problems and went to a place where i’m with all my loved ones including those who have passed, it makes me tear up every time. extremely moving.
