This is the only recording of Carmina Burana that Orff participated in. Since i owned this recording, i remember it as much better sound quality. Faster than the modern recordings. But, since Orff was there for the recording, we must think of it as more the way the composer thought of it. I prefer the Jochum and Blomstedt which are even faster.
