Thank you all for introducing us to Karl Pilkington and his incredible journey-it’s been an absolute blast traveling the world with him! Don’t worry, this isn’t the end. We’ve still got so much more to come. For now, we’re moving onto Season 1 of The Inbetweeners, which will take over the Sunday slot starting February 2nd. Once we finish Season 1, we’ll dive right back into Karl’s adventures with Season 2 of An Idiot Abroad! Stay tuned, and thank you so much for coming on this journey with us!

Your source you've been using for series 1 only has about 2 episodes from series 2 , by the way, it's a dead KZbin page. I have the full series up as a 720 though you could use. I personally recommend skipping the opening of series 2 as it has a big spoiler in it but upto you

Also, If I recall, every single episode of Inbetweeners needs a filter or the video modifying to be reacted to on KZbin.

Thank you SO much for this! The trio that is RSK has been in my life since about 2004, when Ricky brought up Karl in his stand-up. There's a video on YT titled: "Karl Pilkington meets Michael Palin (COMPLETE)" which is worth watching now that you've finished this season. Michael Palin, was the host of the world travel television show who Karl referenced several times during An Idiot Abroad. In the video Karl meets with Michael and they discuss their respective experiences while making their travel shows.

54:10 "Season" used to be a term (and still is here) where the show would run throughout the seasons (typically 26 weeks.). Therefore it was typically shows like Morning shows or news "magazin shows" or chat shows etc. But this is why Dr Who (classic) were called "seasons" as they were shot "live", edited then put out that week. (it was fast paced) It wasn't edited (or cut as we used to say) as each "cut" cost 1,000£ (in todays money). Anyway "Series" are for your block filming. Oh your doing a sitcom with 6 episodes, we schedule that for 3 week filming in Sheperton studios and then we will edit it down in post (production) and put it out in around 3 months. Got it. That is a "series". But we also call a "series" as a franchise (I suppose you call it) so the Inbetweeners is a series about 4 blokes in their teen years. It has x amount of series and y amount of films. We just use the same word for it. (we do this with most things.) Hope I made sense. Enjoyed the series and your reactions to them. Interesting what you think about our ways. All the best Frank.

I don’t see anyone reacting to Palin documentaries. Karl achieved something truly remarkable with everything he touched. I can’t think of one mishit. Not one step out of place. The fact I can stick on any episode of XFM and listen to something I’ve listened to countless times before and still enjoy it not only just as much, but even more than the last time, is something special I just can’t think of anything else that compares. You are not the first reaction channel to Karl’s work I’ve watched, and you are not the last. I am yet to see anyone react to the XFM shows though. That would be glorious.

The BBC actually ran an article on their site a few years ago about the banana thing, referencing Karl in it. They asked a doctor about it who said increased potassium levels can cause irregular heartbeat. The recommended amount per day of potassium , youd get from 6-7 bananas. But they also said youd probably need to be eating round 400 bananas regularly to really mess up your body and cause damage. So its not some instant thing. I think 400 of anything would be bad though 😅

Hi there, love your reactions. As a Brit who lives in China I wanted to say: - The market with lots of insects isnt in like every single town here, but every major city for example you'll know where to go if you want that sort of thing. I live in Shenzhen (South China) and there is an area called Bao'an that if I wanted to I could get a similar (but not as large) range of foods on the market. - the phlegm and spitting thing is a HUGE thing here, EVERYONE does it. I HATE it!!!!!! - everyone in china is amazing at eating foods with bones in they just put it in their mouth and within seconds they just spit out the bones, so weird I didn't catch your reaction to the China episode yet but looking forward to it.
