I remember Karl telling stores on XFM back in the 90s that all tied into “SICK OF IT”… the couch shifting… he had to do that when he and Suzanne moved in together. ( for one). Going to the caravan park was a memory of his childhood and he relived it as an adult and it didn’t have the same spark ( Ricky and Steve sent him)… that’s just to name two but I know sick of it is loosely based on his life. We all love Karl and I’ve been following him for close to 20 years now and I think… he made Ricky and Steve’s career… 100000%! He made those guys more famous than their office and extras. Lefts face it, those were not good shows. Karl Came along in the Nick of time ! HELLO KARL if you ever see this. We love ya mate 🇨🇦 🫖♥️

I think Pilko was best before being on the telly. If you’ve ever listened to him when they were on the radio way back, he was genuinely hilarious. I think he struggles a bit now, he’s aware of the self parody zone. People want the ‘idiot’, so nowadays he’s more likely to be performing that than being that. Not his fault.

if Ricky wouldn't have "introduced him to the world" as 'an idiot,' nobody would even think to call him that. He's not an idiot. If it was only for marketing purposes and Karl was ok with that, then fine, but I can't now go back and watch those 3 interacting. Repeatedly proclaiming Karl an idiot in front of his face just isn't watchable for me. Jabbing your friends a little bit is ok and there can be humor in it when there's some truth in the jabs, but just calling someone an idiot over and over is projection, it's not funny.
