Re the exercise regimes in companies: In Japan, under the Metabo Law, everyone between the ages of 40 and 75 must have their waistlines measured every year. Men should be under 33.5 inches and women should be under 35.5 inches. The responsibility for adhering to this law is being put on employers rather than individuals. There is no penalty for people who don’t turn up to have their waistline measured or who do not lose the weight. Their employer will have to pay a fine if they do not achieve 65% compliance and a 25% reduction in obesity over a given period of time. The fines will be put into funding the health care system!

Weird question for Daniel. Do you not wash your arse when you have a shower?!? Cause that is essentially what a beday is for. You wipe up the mess, then use the water to wash your arse, then dry up. No need to destroy socks. Another great one lads.

Living in the U.S. for couple of years and one of the first things that I’ve learned was not to offer fermented vegetables to Americans because they are not used to it and they feel they are eating rotted food ( understandable). I grew up eating fermented vegetables back home and I really think it is hard to get used to them if you haven’t been eating them since childhood. :)

I really can't see it. They're likely too fake woke to watch it...especially the dude on the left. There's literally nothing transphobic about it but judging from how they approach LGBTQ issues with Karl how do you think they'll react to supernature? They mean well but they're way too concerned with not alienating anyone even when it's obviously not harmful to anyone

i'd quite like to try that fish. i'm sure it's much safer than fugu. fermentation isn't the same as rotting. kimchi's fermented, that's dead nice. i'd like to have a go at fugu one day as well. it would probably be really pricey if it's done by someone who knows what they're doing and the top chef isn't off on a booty call

Once you use one of the Japanese washlets (wash toilets) can't ever go back to just toilet paper toilets. Its like the difference between never showering and only using tiasues to wipe the body down, vs a nice, warm (in cold weather), luxurious shower. Ive gifted a few too, and my friends love them. Especially when their heavily pregnant because you dont have to worry about wiping gymnastics. Get bum washed warm water then aired by warm water.

I must be in a very small minority of your viewers, subscribers, whatevers... Female, Queer, Loves cats (I mean the clue for that was in the previous 2 I guess, the love of pussy 😇) and I watched right to the end, as I tend to do because I thought that was the point! I'm just somewhat behind schedule on these because I tend to avoid ricky gervais. So I caught on to your reactions of these a bit late. Just personal preference, but I prefer people in comedy who don't punch down, y'know? To borrow from something Daniel said in this episode regarding the zen buddhism "they are all small things on their own. But when you start to stack them together...", and I feel much that way regarding certain comedians, amongst others, (like Gervais) who propagate ongoing bigotries and prejudice and discrimination, especially against LGBTQ+ communities, and to women, including transwomen, people with disabilities (another club I'm in, whooo!) and maybe they take aim at cats too idk. But they wheedle out of it with "it's just jokes", "lighten up its a laugh", "don't take things so seriously", yet when you start to add these things together, a different picture begins to emerge. I don't know, just some random ramblings from the perpetually sleep deprived. I enjoy watching these via your channel and 'with' you guys though, keep it up!

Question for you two: What percentage of Karl's dialect, every word he speaks, do you guys understand? 80%? 90%? 95%? You guys speak English obviously, but non-Britishers + especially foreigners usually find it difficult to understand everything he says. He uses so much slang, and has a serious twang to his accent, which is Manc. He often muffles his voice, and whatnot as well. I am Australian, and I understand 100% of his lingo, but mainly just because I have heritage links to northern England, and friends from there and so on. Otherwise, it'd be a lot harder. That being said, you seem to understand a vast majority of it, you laugh and react exactly when I laugh and react. Cheers guys.
