Nice video! Curious to know, how or what it would take to have the M100 ship over to the States (U.S.) Anyone knows, I'd sincerely appreciated the information to do so. Mr. Chapman is an amazing engineer, these vehicles are really wonderful cars. Great as a easy weekender car, for those scenic vistas... after church Sunday drives.

Thanks Exige 360. The Elan M100 was available in the States so you should be able to get hold of one quite easily. Mines a later S2, but you should find plenty of SE’s stateside👌Lotus spent a lot of time and money federalising them with different bumpers, front clam, rear trunk, larger wheels etc.

Hi, I have just come across your channel. I own number 387 over in Perth Australia, I'm from the Uk and bought mine over here around 12 months ago, its an Australian delivered car in silver. I watched your video vlog 1 and you showed your battery kill switch was in the battery compartment area, it is supposed to be sticking out behind the drivers seat.

Hi Steven, behind the drivers seat would be a better option yes. I don't think any Elan came from the factory with a kill switch as standard, so it must be that a previous owner of your car had a better idea than the previous owner of mine 😉 I might relocate mine to the boot as that way when I put the car in the garage it will be easy to get to! Hope you are enjoying number 387 in Perth!

@@karlhurn when i drove it, it was mostly fine. it's pushing 30yo with original everything except the battery & oil. it has problems now.

@@redshirt-scotty Yes, the engine is fairly robust, but it does like its frequent oil changes though😉 Hopefully we'll see some 'getting it back on the road videos'from you? 👌
