I guess people have different ideas of strength. In my opinion, true strength is not letting all the horrors, torture and pain you've faced turn you into a bitter, twisted person who is equally as cruel as your tormentors, but rather, only allowing it to make you a better person, more kind, more understanding and more sympathetic to others than you were before. That's Sansa. She doesn't let her experiences make her lose hope in goodness and that's why she's strong. All she wants is love, family and home. That's why she's my favourite book character. No hidden agendas or blood thirsty motives.

I really wanted it to sound powerful and quite heroic but with perhaps flickers of sadness for the family members who were no longer alive. I'm so happy that translates through the music. It was one of those songs that just kina wrote itself. Once I had that line "Wolves of the North" and "...we howl for our fallen..." it all took shape from there. It was a really enjoyable piece for me to create.

Other than this being an incredible song, as always, I can't help but picture this being REALLY good for a tribute video. "We're bigger and stronger" blend a scene of the living Starks in season 1 to as they are now in season 6 "We howl for our family" cut to Rickon being shot, Eddard execution, and Robb an Catelyn's death "We howl for our slain" Jon holding Yrgitte, Hodor dying, as well others I could go on, but I'll stop here and just say what a wonderul job you did Karliene

I imagine this being adopted at this point in the story and a few generation down the line (assuming Winter doesn't destroy everyone) this being the thing played as a stark enters the great hall/weds someone and a lannister decendant is still around and everyone is at peace and Lannister gets uneasy at the lyrics. And people complain about it saying about them being Kings in North (I mean this as if the events in the show/book were historic events and the show started in a time before another upheaval.) Also, White Wedding anyone? Though the Starks are intentionally not boastful, probs to make them the good guys.
