I worked in concerts in Vegas for a long time some years ago. Your songs are, and I am not messing around, better than 99% of anything else out there. Grammy's and all that are meaningless in the shadow of your music. You channel something very few people can.

I'm not surprised of that evaluation. I don't have any expertise in music, but these songs are such a perfect mix: the instrumentals, the lyrics, the change of speed and volume - it all work together to catch a the spirit of a person or story or a situation. Also, I'm ridiculousy addicted to Become the Beast, it just takes the Lecter -Graham dynamic and pours it into the shape of a song.

I grew up in the bible belt, and for as long as I can remember I went to church. I started attending private religious school when I started middle school. As the years progressed I was taught from such a young age that my body, my words, my very existence was a temptation. That even though women were supposedly weaker than men, I (a teen girl) could cause grown men to stumble. I internalized that fear. I blamed myself for the horrible things that happened to me. I blamed myself for their actions and thoughts. Now, three years after leaving the church, I'm so free and happy. I see my body as something beautiful and powerful. I've found myself in the "wickedness" they accused me of. This song speaks to me because of that level. Because now I know who I am outside of the cult I was raised in. I know how powerful I am. And that is something they can never take from me again.

I noticed an interesting thing about your music and my perception of it. When you release something new, I usually (not always, tho, but it happens quite often) don't understand if I really like it or not. At first I go like -- 'Okay, seems great and all, but not sure how much I like it". But then I come back later and listen again. And then again. And again. Something in your music draws me to it. The more I listen, the more beautiful I find the music and the lyrics, I find more little details, I imagine the picture brighter and brighter, discovering new layers. I love it when I'm in love with your songs from the first sight, but for some reason I love the process I described higher even more. It's like meeting a new person that seems interesting, but you're not sure about them, and when you know them closer, you realise this is a start of a beautiful friendship (Louis, lol). Thank you for inspiring me with you beautiful music, and thanks to Roxane for making it even more beautiful

I love this. I actually have the same thing with a lot of artists I like. I can hear a new album and initially it won't hit me, I may even skip some songs, and then they grow on me, and sometimes a song that I thought was initially the most boring song on the album becomes my most favorite. It tends to happen when I attach something meaningful to it. I could be thinking about a lover I had from long ago or a really beautiful scene from a movie and suddenly the song takes on a whole new meaning and it's a really powerful thing. The moment that song gives you chills for the first time is my favorite feeling. Music is a bizarre and beautiful kind of magic.

Goergeous! This songs gives me such goosebumps, and the animation is so perfect with it. I love the design of the witch here - the flower&leaves crown, the way the colors of hair and clothing are reminiscent of a forest with the muted red and green, and aren't those the same flowers and leaves in her crown as in the background? --> visual connection ❤❤! I know it's a matter of taste and each to their own, but I'm so thrilled to see a 'witch' who doesn't have a, excuse me please, glossy pin-up look (perfect make-up & hair, specializes in the sort of witch craft best done with no more than 2 square footof clothing, ...) . I've read _way_ too much Terry Pratchet (RIP) for that.
