Most of y'all don't realize that the center for Utah, Mark Eaton was 7 feet, 4 inches tall and he was a blocking machine. And there was Charles, dunking on him at a foot shorter than Eaton. Amazing

Charles Barkley's fg% and 2pt fg% from 84 to 93 was Shaq like before Shaq. Only difference, Chuck was 6'4" 270. He played bigger than his height. Just imagine if he was a 7 footer. Also, if he was a gunner an attempted 25 shots a game, his average would've been jordan like easily. 60% from the floor and 25 a game in 1990, on only 15 attempts per game. He was different and I loved watching him growing up in Philly. He's my GOAT...

Duncan over all of them. You don't win 5 championships by accident.
@matthewpersad24314 жыл бұрын
@@arsonhakobyan You don't win 5 championships without Hall of famers to be Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli. Both were top 5 players at their positions...It helped having hall of famer David Robinson's menacing defensive presence in the middle for 2 of those 5 titles.....I watched all their careers. Barkley didn't play with an elite point guard until he was slightly past his athletic peak when he arrived in Phoenix. Chuck, in his prime, would destroy Duncan on any day of the week. He would run the slow-footed Duncan's butt off the court.
@arsonhakobyan4 жыл бұрын
@@matthewpersad2431 Tony Parker was a steady-good but not great point guard in my opinion. Did he threaten any assists titles? No. He was what the Spurs needed at that position for the umbrella sets that they run. He was ambidextrous, usually made decent decisions, had an okay shot, but I never felt he was a generational talent like Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Steve Nash, Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, and that's just from his era. But it wasn't a point guard oriented offense that relied much on that. Manu Ginobili's the greatest Italian player in Spurs history, surpassed what Vinny Del Negro did, arguably the greatest flopper of his era, but he didn't have the fast twitch muscle fibers of a Kobe Bryant, to be able to take a game over. They'll both get in the HOF, but the HOFs kind of become watered down a bit in the NBA. Dennis Rodman made the HOF being statistically totally 1-dimensional. The Bulls & Pistons would have 5 less championships combined w/o him, but to me if Dennis is a HOFer, so is Horace Grant, who was just as important to the 1st 3peat as Rodman was to the 2nd.
