I am a student of Jyotisha Shastra (not an expert, only a learner). I can explain briefly on your topic #2. Every graha (navagraha or cosmic body) is associated with a particular stone (in fact every living and non-living object in the world is associated with a particular graha). For example: Red Coral Stone is associated with Mangala Graha (Planet Mars). So when we wear the particular stone or use a particular object that is associated with the graha it creates a certain effect in our lives. The effect may be subtle in certain cases and not subtle in certain cases. For instance if in a person's chart (kundli) the graha Surya is afflicted or weakly positioned then the individual can have bone-related issues. If Shani (Saturn) is badly placed in lagna (ascendant) a person can suffer from inferiority complex (along with childhood problems and potential health issues). The whole chart must be studied before coming to those conclusions (I am just giving you a general brief idea because I can't explain in detail here). But gemstones are generally used to heighten the effects of a particular graha and it is meant to be prescribed only after carefully analysing the whole chart in detail. For example, let us say you are born in Karka Lagna (Cancer ascendant) then Chandra Graha (Moon) which rules over Karka is seen as a favourable planet for the native (assuming it is well placed in the chart). In that instance, prescribing the use of pearl (stone) is beneficial for the native as it will reinforce the energy of that graha. But the same pearl might not be favourable if the native is running a particular dasa (time period) which has an inimical relationship to Chandra graha. So even the stone has limited use as a remedy (it may be beneficial for few years and may not be during a particular dasa or time period). In my opinion it is best to avoid gemstone therapy unless one has a very reliable/dependable Jyotisha teacher to guide the native throughout that process. Today many so-called astrologers prescribe expensive gemstones for everything - just to make money (they are not astrologers but businessmen). If one uses the wrong stone they can develop health issues (I have seen this happen with few individuals that is why I am saying it). There are better (non-expensive) remedies than gemstones that one can pursue. Doing sincere sadhana or prathana for the graha or reciting right mantras can help one overcome the negative effects of grahas. There is a fantastic book that gives remedies for each graha related problems. It is called Navagraha Stotramala. You can look it up in case you are seeking remedies for graha related issues. There are also certain books on specific grahas (like books on Shani) in which they discuss purana-based stories to explain how to overcome graha-based issues. For instance, Hanuman gains a boon from Shani and anyone who worships Rama or Hanuman sincerely will not have to face Shani's negative effects (especially during Sade Sati). In the Mahabharata, there is a story where Nala gets a boon from Shani as reward for his Dharmic personality - it is said whoever reads the story of Nala sincerely will overcome Shani's negative effects in Kali Yuga. Similarly there are other devatas for each graha and the worship of specific devatas can be done to overcome negative effects of Grahas. This is (in my humble view) better than buying expensive gemstones as remedies.

Actually in a more precise hindi term being detached means doing things as an observer or “sakshi bhaav” meaning you are just an observer and acting out according to the flow of life without any repent or ambition to carry out things in life . I also read a book Immortal talks and it clearly describes how we all are living a life as a subject and even if as a soul we are not here some other soul would be living our life going through same circumstances and challenges but the way we tackle things makes all the difference between souls and their future results. Also the decision we make no matter in terms of professional or personal it draws a trajectory which results in formation of a tendency which is referred to as “Vaasna “ and depending upon these vaasna we reincarnate in new body.

Angreezo ne dharma ko religion bana diya or karma ko punishment bana diya. But true meaning is totally different. Jese ek soldier ka dharm hota he desh ki raksha karne ka, ek pujari ka dharm hota he bhagwan ki seva karna bhakti karna, vese hi har ek civilian ka dharm he apane desh ke liye contribute karana desh ko aage badhana.
