What happened to the kids was partly the aunt's fault too for pushing the father to remarry so fast. Maybe I'm too White washed, but I never understood Hmong's concept of immediately replacing one's spouse to deal with grief. If one can do so, so easily I cannot believe that there was love to begin with...it's as if you lost a shoe and now want to replace that shoe asap

Where’s the weak and selfish father’s karma? He knew the truth when he heard his second wife confessing that she lied to get rid of the kids and he still thought of his mushroom only. Cuz he was ok with his kids being homeless and being mistreated. During the kid’s most difficult time when they lost their mother, instead of manning up for his kids and being strong for them. He wanted pity from everyone. It has always been about him him him! And you all enable his nasty and selfish behavior and you sat like a fool too and watch her clown you and your husband.
