Ketu in 8th in my D9. Wow. Everything is so true. I am in Rahu Dasha. Sex without attachment is true but also deep feelings with only certain people. Ptsd from a very traumatic experience, yes unfortunately and it was something so hard to explain but very real that only I carry and will fully understand. I definitely feel sort of out of body, uttarabadrapada sun as well. I feel I need to make money and definitely learning how to provide for myself but I am so drawn to mystical side and realize the futility of working traditional ways. Once I start making money at something “traditional” I kind of lose interest, which is why I guess I will eventually make a living doing something mystical. I have NEVER wanted/desired a partner in my life and that has been a complete blessing! I guess I have been connecting well on some level with my destiny. Thank you both!!.. It was lovely listening to you. I really appreciate the depth of Vedic astrology, but only one thing, Ketu in the 7th house interpretations by old school astrologers never truly resonate with me. I mean Dr. Mehta's (and other respectable teachers' of this discipline) interpretation. Maybe it's because I have my Rahu in the 1st accompanied by Saturn, but in my relationships, I am always the one who gets rejected. So this idea of "ketu in 7th house being too demanding" doesn't quite resonate with me. I mean, thinking of myself as "too egotistical" never supported my Rahu cause till now (I already have enough of triggers for feeling guilty in my chart). Personally I'm having more problems with delivering the demands of my Rahu. And because I neglect it, my partner's actually walk all over me. So I think my problem is more on the "not demanding enough" instead (and respect to my boundaries one of those vital demands)

Having been with someone in the past who had Rahu+Moon conjunction (so Ketu in the 7th from Moon chart), I have some experience in this area. Have you considered the possibility that you might be too egotistical and demanding in your relationships, without realizing it? After all, Rahu and Ketu can represent illusion, but can also lead to enlightenment. In my personal experience, what I noticed was that people who have this combination have this push/pull, hot/cold approach to relationships, which is symbolized perfectly by the Rahu-Ketu mythology and when it falls in the 1/7 axis it's basically a tug of war between personal desires and the need for a relationship. Usually, the personal desires win because you're MEANT to, in this life, look out for yourself.

Aries ashwini ascendant, 8th house scorpio ketu in the 8th house. My ketu is also conjunct my venus. Im 20 and I’ve never been in a relationship because i need a genuine deep connection. I also have scorpio mars, which is my darakaraka. Then my atmakaraka is saturn in the 2nd house. The majority of my trauma comes from my brother. He’s better now, but he had heavy substance abuse and went to prison. He stole money and possessions from my family, including me specifically as a nine year old😑. He also would get physically violent with my dad. No, it’s not good that I feel like I’m literally dying when I have a lack of money 😭😭😭😭. It’s so bad, i don’t cry often because I feel very detached most of the time but I start bawling my eyes out like crazy the minute I feel insecure in my finances. I could see it perfectly in my son with Ke in 12th house. He is very spiritual in nature and in his own world most of the time. Also Ju aspects Ke sitting in 6th house. Also JuKe conjunction in Navamsah in 9th house. So I guess position of Jupiter will also play a role here.

You can't make them change. Life will beat everyone down to a pulp until they eventually turn towards God. For some people it can happen within this lifetime, for others, it may be in a future life. Life itself is the greatest teacher. Saturn is a significator of spirituality and the 8th and 12th houses in Jyotish and Saturn also represents grief, depression, poverty and literally many if not all of the negative parts of life that make people eventually turn towards God.

It was an absolutely tough year. 18 years cycle. Ketu Saturn was in 9th recently. Today Sun moved into Virgo and Saturn turns direct in Capricorn. Things should get better in few months. Rahu is like another Saturn. Then there's also dasa periods. But remember D1 is chassis, D9 is engine 🚗
