The Sun represents Unity, Oneness. Where and how your life 'radiates' that Oneness is what the Sun represents in our charts. That means that there is in reality no ignorance/darness/sin etc to dispell. There is no shadow to cast away. That's the power of Maya. The Sun being afraid of the Emptiness that is, dispells his light out of that same inner emptiness. The Sun as we see him, has a limited existence, whereas the Self is timeless. I have sun in 6h in leo and venus in 8h in libra and I have digestive/intestinal issues, but I found eating root vegetables and bone broth are helping as well as meditation. nothing spicy or acidic, as you said, pitta is out of wack at most times, even for something so small, you can pay for weeks and even months, you gotta do the work yourself because doctors never really know exactly what is happening and so you have to have enough awareness to backtrack and find the cause. I have been keeping a food diary to in order to rack trigger foods and keep track of my calories to correlate.

I have sun in Leo, too, and i was diagnosed with IBS and Gastritis. Dealing with issues related to Gut Dysbiosis, Candida. I also have a food diary and have to take ultimate care of my health. Even a slight slip or ignorance has caused me severe issues in the past. Lost 25 kgs of weight, and had to completely change my diet and routine too. My sun is in conjunction with Rahu.

Can’t exactly agree with sun in the 6th. Yes I’m a health nut. But I’m the healthiest person I’ve seen around, indeed, it’s scary how I never get sick. I do have some digestive issues and allergies but last time I had the flu I don’t even remember. My sun is with mercury in Capricorn. My ascendant is Leo. And sun rules my first and second house and I have a stellium in my second house. I typically win and achieve everything I touch and my power scares people. It scares me at times. My sun/mercury trines all my planets in my second house and squares my moon/ Pluto combo in the third.

Yes, it is, different ways of calculating give different results and usually, each result holds some truth to it. This can also happen when Sun exchanges houses with another planet, like Sun in Cancer and Moon in Leo for Aquarius Asc, or Sun in Virgo and Mercury in Leo for Pisces Asc. It can also happen when Sun is in the 6th house, conjunct the lord of the 7th, or in the 7th, conjunct the lord of the 6th. For a deeper understanding, checking the nakshatras for all planets in the 6th and 7th(including Sun) might help as well. Example: if Sun is in the 7th, in Magha Nakshatra, and Ketu, the lord of Magha, is in the 6th, you get another type of strong connection.
