I backed this game on kickstarter and was pleased with it. I wasn't blown away by it though. There's something missing to it. After playing a few times it got a bit boring at times but the theme and design was pretty good. Still need some work on the rules.

Played this a little while back with 4 players. I think the game lasted a little bit too long with that many players and it felt like there weren't enough different cards, since by about the fourth 'round' everyone pretty much knew all the cards. Also the different 'decks' each player has in front of them are a bit confusing for the first several rounds (which deck do I draw from again?). Not a bad game overall, the theme is neat and the artwork on the cards is very nice, as Zee says. Might be better as a 2 player game, though.

The meoples are little wooden Buddhas +1 ; The take-that can come back to you in the next life like bad Karma +1; Too simple a mechanic, probably best for a gamer to play with a non gamer for a quick bit of fun. The theme and art are excellently implemented.

the mechanic may be simple but some of the interactions between the cards can be pretty deep. Definitely accessible for non gamers (played with the GF and her friend) but interesting enough for gamers to not fall asleep :P

Would like to know games you could merge or make or take from from a 4 player game into an 5-8 player game etc... like Karuba. Those game groups ruin things lol

Did you try holding on to or discarding any take that cards that made it your way? I played that way, focused on transcending and noticed that the other players while being more interactive had a slower time. That was really unfortunate for me as I do love interaction but the game didn't seem to promote that.

That's where the colors come in. Put one color in your deeds, one color in your future life, and play cards of the other color for their effect.

i like the game but i felt at 4 players it took too long with too much take that, started to feel like munchkin
