Yeah, Karna vs Sieg seems super divisive to most reactors. They really have to pull out all the stops against Karna, he's legitimately among the top tiers of Servants. Like Gilgamesh would have to be fully serious against him, that's how strong he is.

Bro I love Karna and Apocrypha so much. I also really love this episode because it shows Karna's skills and true Noble Phantasm. He actually has 4 Noble Phantasms. One is his incredible armor Kavacha and Kundala, which blocks 90% of any damage that is dealt to him. The second is Brahmastra, which is the laser from his eye that he fired against Siegfried, фт Anti-Army, Anti-Country Phantasm. The third is Brahmastra Kundala: by enhancing Brahmastra with his Mana Burst (Flame) skill, he can launch his spear and thus greatly increase the power of Brahmastra, putting this move on par with nuclear weapons. And finally, the last, 4th Noble Phantasm. In exchange for removing his tremendous defensive power, Karna is able to activate Vasavi Shakti, a one-shot only spear of light that takes down even gods. Originally the thunder spear of the King of the Gods Indra which not even he could handle properly. Its power is sufficient to kill gods. EX-Rank Noble Phantasm (same as Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish). Unfortunately, in order to use Vasavi Shakti, Karna sacrifices his armor, and if the enemy somehow survives this God-Tier attack, then Karna will have to fight while fighting without armor. So...how did they (MC) overcome this? Not to mention it was 1 vs. 5 fight, all thanks to Achilles. Apparently, Chiron knew that Karna was an abnormally strong servant, and so he asked Achilles to give him one of his phantasms, which is perhaps the only one (with Avalon) that can save from vasavi shakti. In Fate/Apocrypha, Karna and Achilles are the strongest servants, and if everyone just fought each other in this war, the winner would be either Karna or Achilles. So... The Phantasm that Achilles gave to Astolfo is Akhilleus Kosmos. This Phantasm said to be able to stand against nearly any attack by deploying a miniature world. Yes, yes, in essence, it creates its own world, like the Reality Marble, but unlike it, the type of this phantasm is Barrier, so it is not the same as what Emiya or Achilles did in the battle with Chiron. Thus, Astolfo, by activating this phantasm, created this world, and thus the entire blow of the Anti-Divine Vasavi Shakti fell on Akhilleus Kosmos, which is precisely designed against this level of Phantasms. In fact, only the Anti-World (Enuma Elish) type of Phantasm can penetrate Akhilleus Kosmos, so... Achilles is pretty OP, huh? Fastest, can blow things up, create Reality Marble and fight fair hand-to-hand in it, create a freaking world blocking everything... So much for the strongest hero in Greece. Achilles himself lost 70% of his speed and strength thanks to Chiron, who struck his heel and took away his divine immortality. Therefore, he also died from the wounds of this form of Atalanta, which even made Ruler sweat. RIP Karna (But I still have a lvl 100 Karna in Fate Go, so my bo lives) and Achilles (don't have him, he constantly runs away from me...) Not pressing F for Sieg.

I don't understand why Achilles gave Astolfo a NP nor why Chiron asked him to do that. Isn't Chiron the same guy who told Achilles that they were at war and that he should forget about the master/friends thing because they were enemies now when they first faced each other? This "granting my last wish as a master" thing from Chiron is bs. Apocrypha has some really cool characters, it's a shame that the story was so bad and forced with so much plot armor

Was waiting for someone to say this because I stopped watching them after that childish reaction video and cancelled my patreon because it looked like they were just watching Fate for the hype and being childish about this episode. Im so happy to find this channel where someone is actually genuinely understanding fate and enjoying it. This is also the only person I found who appreciates Apocrypha for what it is. He talks about it so much in his streams and Patreon. I also found it funny and respectable when he said that he's not surprised Karna died like that because he's a "lancer" which shows that he's understood fate very well 🤣

Another victim of the lancer curse, Karna using the Vasavi Shakti removed his armor so he's basically vulnerable at the time. Achilles also lost his armor to Chiron, but without Chiron teaching him a humbling lesson, Achilles would be a problem to the Black team.

1:45 Do you have any idea how little that description narrows it down? 10:10 in this fight Karna used every noble phantasm he had and most of his skills. Siegfried has his armor of Fafnir and Balmung. The reason Sieg was even able to survive as long as he did in this fight is Armor of Fafnir which makes him near invincible although most of Karnas noble phantasms would kill him if they were direct hits. 10:55 This is Karna’s strongest weapon and most powerful np. Vasavi Shakti. The spear of the god of thunder and lightning Indra who gave it to Karna out of respect, it is an anti divinity and anti army noble phantasm with the ability to be able to kill even some gods and wipe out armies. However in order to use it he has to give up his armor np which also makes him almost invincible because he only got the weapon as a gift from Indra after giving up his armor. 13:20 The Akhilleus Kosmos, one of the strongest defensive noble phantasms in existence it could even stop an attack from Gilgamesh Enuma Elish although the shield would end up getting destroyed in the process. It’s one of the very few noble phantasms that can be used by someone other than its original wielder. However only Achilles can use it at full power. It’s said that when Achilles uses it he can even use it for offensive attacks, however we’ve never seen Achilles use it unfortunately and because of how op Achilles is he doesn’t show up in a lot of stories so it’s annoyingly unlikely we’ll see him use it any time soon. 13:57 Anyway whenever someone talks about the shield stoping Karnas np there’s a argument that almost always goes like this “Karnas attack can’t be stoped by shields, bounded fields and the shied is a divine construct so his np has a advantage against it anyway! Besides in the anime you can see the world made by the shield getting destroyed” and the other side is “it has to be an anti world np or greater to destroy the shield and in the manga the np didn’t show the world getting destroyed by Karna’s attack” both sides of the argument are pointless and stupid because it still wasn’t Achilles using the shield so we don’t know what would happen anyway. 18:12 See this is why Chiron had to pierce Achilles heal before this fight because if he hadn’t Achilles would kill Atalanta then probably go help Amakusa. Also Achilles does technically already have a lover but he does really respect Atalanta. Also in Fate he met her when he was a kid back when she was still doing stuff with the Argonauts. In irl myths tho he wasn’t even born yet. Also before I forget the shield is a divine construct that creates a bounded field like reality marble. It creates the entirety of the Ancient Greek world that Achilles grew up in and in the scene that shows the shield get used it has a bunch of small details, it shows Achilles mother, Chiron, Achilles killing Hector and the walls of Troy.

In fgo he take Gae Bolg yes and he died, he just have enough strength to launch Vashavi before vanishing but that killed it. Without is armor Karna is frail (C rank endurance) and can be killed by a mere sword who isn't even a Noble Phantasme. Achille however have both A rank in endurance and Battle Continuation. According to the description of the skills he could still fight without heart for a moment. During Atlantis is spirit core was destroyed just like Cu did to Karna, but instead of dying he just continue to fight and stall chiron and the guard during a lot of times. If you want to talk about missile don't forget Achilles can also throw is own spear with so much strength it's called "A Flying missiles"

Glad you're going to continue the reaction, since I've already seen a couple of other reactionaries refuse to watch after Karna's defeat. Consider it a sign of respect for Karna that it took the efforts of Siegfried, Frankenstein, Achilles, and Astolfo to win. And yes, Vasavi Shakti is the same rank as Enuma Elish - EX, and it's also an Anti-Divine type. Although if Karna and Achilles fought each other, it would be hard to say who would win. One has powerful armor and a powerful Noble Phantasm. And the other has extreme speed, higher basic stats than Karna (i.e., Karna's Endurance stat is C rank, while Achilles' is A rank), Continuation of Battle skill (i.e., like Cu Chulainn, he can't be killed right away once you cut off his heart or part of his head), a powerful shield, and a spear that can change the space for pure physical confrontation, blocking any other abilities and possibilities.

Achilles got a pretty bad match up with Karna bro, Achilles invulnerability is useless against someone with high Divinity like Karna, Whereas Karna Armour still given him exceptional Advantage Not to mention Karna has more range with his longer spear in Cqc and Karna just hits far harder than Achilles with his Skill and MB flame enough to slice and burn him in one hit Also Karna is called only a half step slower than Achilles, so Achilles isn't blitzing him anyway Even in the dual field, Karna has same level of combat skills and hold the absolute advantage as Skills can be used in the dual field, Karna with MBF will burn Achilles alive like vampire VLAD without even touching Even after Vasavi Shakti vs Akhillieus kosmos, shield is destroyed And then Karna can just finish him with Brahamastra Kundala due to its homing ability, Difficult to dodge and has Very Large AOE Well, Achilles is a top servant surely but he specialises in Defense and hit and Run tactics He could contend with karna by using tactics and defense But in a headon battle, he looses clearly, he is Faster But Karna also has far more firepower, it what karna is best But When you add his armour advantage, it becomes a certain win So it means Overall Karna and Achilles r comparable but Karna will be always stronger than him Which is enough to Beat him and win Achilles also has chances but quite less

Achille would probably win this, he is one of the few Servant that could stop Vashavi shakti and if he lose is armor Karna is dead, Achille could just kill him fast. Karna will win if they fight inside a building or somewhere where Achille can't use is speed to dodge Karna attacks. But Achille still gonna be the winner in most of the case. Also Achille will have the Fame boost everywhere in the wold giving him a huge advantage on Karna who only have a fame boost in Asia.

@@luciferdevil3881 First what happens in CCC aren't very relevant for the reasons of happening in the mooncell where Servant can be modified by hack and other cheat, this was also written during the release of Apocrypha Novel so before Karna have is fight against Siegfried and far before the release of the material book who explain everything about Apocrypha skills and Np. Remember Mooncell Karna doesn't even have the same parameter as regular Karna. The Fame boost take in consideration both the land and recognition. They receive buff by being near they're homeland and by they're local reputation. Even if Karna is strong enough to doesn't bother about being pretty unknown outside Asia, it's the same for Achilles just that he get the buff anyway since he is known everywhere. Karna is a beast with an insane firepower yes, he is a great warrior who also get an strong defense with is armor but it's far for making him invincible, he could still lose against Servant from the same tier. Chiron wasn't going all out against Mordred, they just fight a few seconds. Chiron think there's a high risk of defeat because he is an Archer who was forced to fight against a Saber in CaC. If Achille have used is spear against Chiron instead of fight him fair on the plane this would have been a stomp. Brahamastra Kundala is strong yes but once again you forget Karna speed. If Karna sacrifice is armor to take out the shield then the fight is over, Karna have a lover agility than transfomed Atalanta, the same Atalanta blietz by Achille who lost 70% of his speed when Chiron pierce is heel. Don't think he will get victory because he have Brahamastra Kundala, with Dromeus Kometes and Troias Tragoidia are two Noble Phantasme enough too escape Brahamastra and it's only if he let Karna throw it. Also since both the Armor and the Spear of Karna are divine gift they will probably be sealed if Achilles use is duel field since he cancel any kind of God bless and help.

Vasavi Shakti is not anti-world, it's anti-army/anti-divine. The shield recreates Greece. Karna has D rank luck and luck is just "fate" resistance as opposed to literal luck.

Funny enough THREE factors played in Karna's downfall.......first is that he made a deal to defeat Sieg before his transformation ends whitch is 5 minutes and they would save his original master in exchange,second is Frankensteins Galvanism whitch basically allows to generate magical energy from elctricitty or friction in the air so Sieg practically had unlimited mana in this fight similar to Artoria alter in Heavens feel and the ability to spam Balmung allowed him to counter most of Karna's attack's so if Karna wanted to finish off Sieg before he transformed back he had to use the attack that will kill him in one strike and thre is where we go into third factor:Vasabi Shakti removes Karna's armor so it had to be used with cauchious but almost no one can survive it's strike......well no one except the one who has Acheliuses Cosmos of course🤣.A noble phantasm that is a reality marble in a form of a shield that can be used both as an offence and defence that is as wast as planet itself and you will need to have something that can destroy a planet in order to deal with this.......Red faction was just too strong for our guys to win fair and square so writers had to pin them down against each other.

Man people really underestimate Achilles. As I mentioned before, Apocrypha's story confirms that both Achilles AND Karna are the strongest servants in the Great Holy Grail War. They both have abilities that give them a solid chance in beating the other. When Achilles fought Atalanta, he had lost 70% of his power and speed, yet he was still able to fact Atalanta and beat her I do recommend watching Tsiah IV's "Don't Sleep on Achilles" for more context

Ain't no way Karna can be defeated fairly by the cast of characters Apocrypha had. Dude blocked God Arjuna's world breaking NP for few minutes while being in his base form. I always thought it was a stupid decision to begin with to have someone like Karna in Apocrypha where only Achillies can give Karna a decent fight while not backed up by Plot Armour. LB 4 was the only storyline I thought they give Karna's character justice.

😂 Achilles will lose hard, Not to mention, Achilles invulnerability is useless against Karna with high Divinity And Karna can just tank all of his attacks with his Armour and can burn him alive like Vampire Vlad Achilles didn't have any attack to force Karna to use Vasavi Shakti, Karna only used on Sieg due to time limit otherwise he could just burn him slowly to death after a long fight

Karna was doing 1v3, or 1v4 at that point, the reason he lose is because of plot armor. The contrast made him have to defeat Sieg in 3 minutes so he have to give up his divine armor to summon the god killer lance. If he still have that armor, you can bring Jeanne and Chiron with Sieg and Karna just gonna solo 3 of them no diff. That's the reason I hate Sieg
