Its better to hv one dedicated bank for govt transactions instead of using existing govt Banks -- 100 % backed by an act with special majority voting pattern. No need to involve debt instrument activities. Only simple Banking needs to be fulfilled. Its practically doable one --- they hv to reduce their percentage stakes from the existing govt Banks and transfer their accounts to a new one. NIC can maintain this exclusive bank in online mode. For transferring money thru DBT, no extra charges levied by govt Banks. Bcoz of few corrupt officers in such huge banks, the whole drama happens.
