I'm pretty sure this performance was before Sound Awake was released. You can see the difference in some of the lyrics. Considering that this was the first time they ever played this live, this is really fucking good.

In Arizona when Karnivool came through the opener was called like Judgement Day or Judgement Night. They were half violins/strings and the rest guitars and drums. Just thought of them, gonna look up cause they were great.

I've probably listened to this song over 1000 times. Sound Awake was my most anticipated album when it was released and it never disappointed. Definitely my favourite album of all time. Knowing these guys are as good live (I saw them live in 2016) and was one of my most memorable concert memories. Cannot wait for the next album!

It's fkn awesome to experience them live. Most of the crowd at the show thought Monuments as pre-band was better - I think they just didn't know what was awaiting them and the direct energy was more exciting to them as the complexity of Karnivool.
