Meiko learning to embrace the darkness and use it for good is a cool idea that Digimon should explore one day. If Koichi can use the spirits of darkness to be a good guy I'm sure meiko could do something similar with a darkness crest

It is important to remember that the darkness used by the legendary warrior of darkness is different from the darkness used by the likes of Devimon. One is corruptive and incredibly negative while the other has more to do with the end, shadows, and afterlife.

From what I remember Sora had seemed the most grown out of the original group in Lost Evolution. By the time I noticed Biyomons absence I had assumed she had disappeared prior to the movie. I hate to say it but it seemed like she had already accepted that growing up would mean loosing Biyomon while Tai and Matt struggled with being unable to be with their parents while being adults

So many times I find a video you pump out and you expand on the world I love with more ways to have other characters, including movie ones, interesting ideas that the shows and movies never do, I feel super happy because man, these bond evolutions look amazing and fit all of the characters. Plus, a crest of sacrifice or digiegg of that would be an interesting thing. I mean Digimon HAS and continues to add darker themes into the series so something to do with sacrifice would be a cool way to branch into some things like what happened with the Last Evolution Kizuna antagonist. Also, road of dawn...........I play Kingdom Hearts and I got that cheeky reference lol. Anyway, great job with the video and to all of the artists, fantastic work!

I recall reading somewhere that the director or someone on the team said that Meicoomon was actually reborn at some point before Kizuna, as Menoa couldn't actually recreate partners correctly. On one hand, love that they get to try again, on the other, kinda makes tri feel sort of moot. Another great video!

So here's a video suggestion, a video letting your usual commission's artist design a rookie and mega level original digimon, being existing OCs they have or brand new and having like them design a story around the digimon and how they would fit in one of the digimon series or comics. Explaining the ideas that inspired it and how it'll fit in the digital world. I know this probably won't be used cause it doesn't fit the youtube algorithm or have any concepts or keywords that is marketable to the general audience but I just think its a cool idea to see how far your artists can go.

Another great batch of fanmade Digimon once again. Looking at the criteria you listed for the Bond-forms and what differentiates them from Biomerge, I completely didn't realize how "bare" Agumon and Gabumon Bond are compared to Dukemon, SaintGargomon and Justimon, who, while humanoid, feel less definitively "human"... although I feel Sakuyamon fits more along with what the Bond-forms do, so the line does get a bit blurred. I also feel like, while the Bond-forms are definitely primarily inspired by the Digimons previous stages, I feel they should also be sinpired by their partners interests, like how Gabumon Bond can appearently transform into a motorcycle going along with Matt, well, driving a motorcycle, iirc? Stuff like that. Tentomon and Gomamon looks great, pretty much perfect for both Izzy and Joe as well as Tentomon and Gomamon themself. Palmon was somewhat unexpected but very fitting, it's giving me a somewhat Tethysmon-vibe, mainly being a brawler, but also having more "magical" abilities inherited from Lilymon and Rosemon -although I feel the shoulders are just a bit too wide or maybe they could stand to be a bit more muscular, although that's just my take on the balance of the art, not the concept in itself.- In terms of the concept, I find it pretty fitting, even if unexpected, considering even with Lilymons more dainty look, it and especially Rosemon both kept a somewhat rough attitude, although in Lilymons case this, to me, primarily shows through BanchouLilymon. So Palmon Bond going for a more muscular look, as unlikely as I think it'd be from Bandai, is something I could definitely see. It also gives it a kinda American feel, with Mimi of course regularly traveling to America. Piyomon on the other hand... it looks cool, but in some ways I feel it looks less humanoid than Garudamon, and especially its face being mechanical for I'd say no reason adds to that. If I had to guess, it's from Hououmons metal helmet? But I feel it's expanding on that for no reason. Might also just be me, but with Piyomons line so far already kinda showing off the "ferocity" of love, I think I'd prefer if Piyomon bond actually went for the "softer" approach on love, not just drawing strength from love but extending that love to others... in other words a more feminine, angelic form, maybe kinda going along with Sora seemingly settling down a lot more, trading impulsiveness with patience. -the burning wings from Birdramon are perfect though, how they almost seem to form a heart, those need to stay no matter what- ngl, Patamon reminds me of aing Jojos Stand with that color-scheme. Even the stars on its upper body lend to that. Anyways, I feel like there could've been ways to roll in Pegasusmon, as well as more callbacks to Patamons beastial nature, without making it quadrupedal, like, go a more Indramon-like route with it maybe? Replacing its legs with the hindlegs of a horse? Or at least adding hooves and a horse tail? Something along those lines. I feel like it also could've used maybe 1 or 2 aspects from Goddramon, even if it only officially took that Mega in the reboot, not the original timeline that Kizuna belongs to. Gatomon has... a lot of feminity. Or at least a LOT of cake... brb just gonna bonk myself on the head real quick. Alright, where were we? Ah yes. I like the concept of it being primarily Gatomon as more or less Angewomon, without going human, going more of a "furry" route this time, but at the same time, I think I would've preferred if it went the same route as the others so far, taking a human form underneath, but adapting more of Gatomons and Holydramons beast-like aspects in its armor and clothing, basically like a Gatomon-version of Rasielmon. Speaking of: Meicoomon Bond! Personally, I'd very much like to see Meiko "reunite" with Meicoomon, have it be reborn and Meiko partner up with that one, just as retribution for what they had to go through in tri. As for the design itself, it's good, very similar to Meicoomons other evolutions, but as you pointed out, considering how humanoid they already were, that was pretty much unavoidable. Maybe rolling in more of Meikos character-traits and interests could balance that out, but I'm not sure if we really learned much about Meiko that could be used in that sense. Morphomons Bond-form... works? I can't really put it into words, something is bothering me about it, the dress, the wings, although I think it generally makes sense. Maybe I'd add in more of Eosmons cybernetic aspects, like small armor-pieces here and there, on its arms and such, I feel like it'd even make sense since Morphomon is of course an insect-Digimon and especially when rolling in Hudiemon, Hudiemon has exoskeleton armor, so I feel adding some of Eosmons armor or panels as armor on the dress would also work. I think part of the reason something is bothering me is also because outside of Eosmon, going with a line from Hudiemon, well... there is no more line to build or take from after that, at least right now. The incompletion of the line kinda reflects in the Bond-form for me, I guess. Anyways, really great video, really looking forward to the 02 kids' Bonds.

My thoughts on this for two parts. For Sora's Biyomon Bond of Love, I felt that personally, they oughta have gone for something of a "kimono" style of form. It could represent Sora's growth past the "tomboy" phase and instead becoming more refined and regal. Because these "Bond Evolutions" are essentially meant to represent the Digimon taking the overall growth of their human partner as the basis for their evolution. So Biyomon BoL could have taken a more graceful kimono look with aspects of the other evolutions. In regards to Meiko and Meicoomon's "Crest", I thought that it could be better suited as, "Mercy" instead of "Darkness", so it'd be Meicoomon Bond of Mercy. This would tie into the whole aspect of Omegamon Merciful Mode, which was meant to tie into the whole thing about how Meicoomon needed to be killed as a way of showing mercy to her. The theme of how mercy can sometimes seem cruel upfront but is genuinely meant to be of the best of intentions. That's what Meiko and Meicoomon realized and came to accept as part of life.

I very much like that you gave not only other adventure digimon Bond forms, but also Meicoomon and Morphomon, i like GabuBond, but personally i hope there won't be more Bond Forms in the future, especially in Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning. Tri tried in the second movie to start a pro darkness thing with that line Izzy said before the appearance of Vikemon and Rosemon which meant something like 'look to the darkness but, don't be consumed by it'. Which makes sense to me because it isn't that darkness is inherently evil but, rather that it is easier for someone to lose themselves while using it.

My own kinda headcannon with the bonds is that their design is somewhat changed from the memories of their respective partners. They're very much like powered up versions of Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon, but with some big moments from Tai and Matt mixed in. Tai causing Skullgreymon and Matt neeeding to go off on his own with Metalgarurumon, both big moments that helped change their characters down a better path. Hence the more Greymon looking Agubond vs the more complex Gabubond. Been over a decade since I saw the original, so probably forgetting something, but great video all the same.

Ik this isn't that much seeable and maybe its just me but I think the humanoid part of the bond form should give of similar-ish to there trainer cause when I look at agu and gabu bond makes it feel like am looking at a weird fusion of the partner and digimon

I love the Gommamon and Patamon ones. That begin said, I think that a good video idea would be discussing why Sora ALWAYS gets sidelined within the series. I honestly want someone to come up with an in canon rationale for why she always gets the short end of the stick, whether it be evolution transitions, or her treatment within Tri and Kizuna. This might seem counterintuitive, but I had the though this morning that Tri could have just as easily nixed Meiko and Meicoomon, and instead applied that storyline to Gatomon. While applicable to Ken as well (I headcanon that Kari and Ken would have made for the better Jogress pair, with Davis and Cody being paired thereafter, and finally Yolei and TK (Valkyriemon!!!).), I think it would have come to a crescendo if someway, somehow her past with Myotismon (Heh...) somehow managed to corrupt her data resulting in the decision to destroy Gatomon. I could most definitely see it triggering Ophanimon Falldown Mode (Which I don't necessarily see as a fallen state in the way of Laylamon, but rather as an avatar of Justice not tempered by mercy (I headcanon that Meiko has the Crest of Justice. Her plea for mercy is what triggers her digivice to glow and empowers Omnimon. Justice and Mercy go hand in hand, and thematically her evolution line is tied to two angels of Justice in Kabbalistic lore. I also think that Meicrackmon functions as a quasi Fury. That's just a side. Personally, I think Rasielmon looks like Kari's Bond of Light, and Ceresmon Medium Mode as Mimi's Bond of Sincerity. For Sora, I would have probably gone with Isis, because Sora's evolution line/crest leans into holy avian beings (Sethmon, Halsemon, Garudamon, Swanmon (Swans have religious lore associated with them.), Phoenixmon etc.). I suppose Irismon could fill that gap? Sure she draws from Iris, but she also has some Isis-esque inspired elements to her design. Just a few thoughts is all.

Now you have the gears in my head turning. I wanna commission a BOND evolution for the Tyrannomon line. And I'll be taking a few extra liberties with it in regards to which stage it happens at. Uh, probably MetalTyrannomon. Question though. I've noticed that there is a Tyrannomon X and MetalTyrannomon X. Are the X antibody versions stand alone? Or can Black Agumon evolve to Tyrannomon X then to MetalTyrannomon X and then to RustTyrannomon like normal?
