I'd actually give Takato the Purity digimental, since he's usually the purest, goodest boy of the bunch; while Ryo is much more outgoing for the Courage digimental. Just because Takato is the google boy doesn't mean he's gotta get the Courage digimental. Plus, when Beelzemon kills Leomon, that would break the purity digimental and could give way to a darkness (digimental) evolution, that would turn into golden afterwards.

Ryo fit both the destiny and the Courage in my mind more than the purity one because yeah. He's not about purity his concept is about justice and courage which fits Courage more. Or even reliability if we consider Cody's connection to Joe was all more about "fairness" than actually being there for the others.

@@lorddarthkairos01 courage is what every digidestined every achieved on every single moment. Joe for instance, no one could say he didn't become courageous as teh course of the series went in. Just because Takato became brave doesn't mean courage is his defining trait. Digimon is about embracing your personality (your thirst for knowledge, your kind heart nature, your innocent nature, etcetc) and face reality, fight reality, and fight for what you believe in. Just because Joe was reliable doesn't mean he didn't face every thing with courage (including Matt) and just because TK was hopeful doesn't mean his whole fight against evil forces is not driven by courage. It simply means that "Hope" "Reliability" etc were their defining traits. Takato was not about courage, he was all about friendship, purity (heck, guilmon is the purest boi ever created), innocence. Takato believed in everyone's good side, he didn't stood up to protect others for the sake of that, he stood up for the sake of believing everyone was or had the potential to be good.

It's really funny that you gave Sincerity to Ryo because he was the one leftover kid, because I recently assigned the Tamers kids' Digimon with crests and I gave Kazu Sincerity because he was the leftover one in my batch. For those curious of the others it was Takato/Guilmon: Courage (and Miracles for a "Super" option) Henry/Terriermon: Friendship Rika/Renamon: Love (was almost Friendship but the story working her shirt into character development overrode that) Jeri/Leomon: Hope (with Destiny for a "Super" option) The toddlers/Impmon: Kindness Ryo/Monodramon: Knowledge (I figured his backstory made him a useful info kiosk of the multiverse) Suzy/Lopmon: Light Kenta/MarineAngemon: Reliability (because sea life themed lol)

Regarding Digimental choices: - What about Darkness for Impmon to reflect his time as an antagonist? Could've been cool. - Speaking of the Digmental of Darkness - could be interesting for Ryo given the lore about Millenniumon and Cyberdramon's berserk side. If there were to ever be a non-evil Digimental of Darkness armor evolution, I'd expect it of either Cyberdramon or Wormmon.

I kind of thought takato/guilmon getting darkness would be interesting considering what they're capable of when pushed to their limits of anger along with the fact that frontier had a whole thing about how darkness isn't necessarily that bad of a thing if used right. Plus, there's the fact that guilmon is a virus and that's kind of associated with darkness if I'm remembering right.

Instead of Erosmon, the name should be Philiamon because sibling love is part of the reason Impmon armour digivolves. And instead of the arrows making people fall in love, they should make people see each as siblings or as a parent and a child. It would be so fun to see an extension of the arrows of platonic love from Adventure that gave Agumon and Gabumon the ability to warp digivolve. Besides that, this video is great and I agree with everything you said. 🥰

im definitely loving Scortchdramon here, definitely loving the armor becomes black giving it much more scorch as unlike Veemon, this time its fire digimon + fire digiegg and it just looks amazing Paladinmon looks crazy good, id be fine with just red version of magnamon but adding elements of gallantmon and even Wargrowlmon here is quite genius adding the wings in exchange of magnamon booster is a nice touch too, giving it a more medieval look even more apparent

Actually... Could Alice McCoy have the digi-egg of destiny? Especially considering how Dobermon was destined as a sort of sacrifice for the others to get the power of Biomerging in the real world? It actually could also be the digi-egg of miracles as well considering how little she's shown and how bio-merging is sort of a unique experience in the real world.

All of these designs are amazing! Weirdomon did a fantastic job with these Digimon, and I really wish we could see them in future media. We really don't see enough Armor evolutions these days and even the ones we have don't get enough attention. I'm still pretty sad we only got Flamedramon and Magnamon in the Cyber Sleuth games, and even then they weren't as useful as I would have liked them to be.

I really enjoyed the cyber sleuth games. One of the few things I was really disappointed in those games is how late you can get Flamdramon and the to spirit digimon agunimon and I forget the name of the light spirit. By the time you get access them they are not strong enough for the opponents you fight. If you want to use them for any length of time you almost need to either heavily over level them or wait for new game plus. Or at least that’s what I removed it’s been well over a year and I’ve played a lot of games since then.

I strongly believe Rikua should have the love crest, as his t-shirt implies, also, her whole arc is about self love and accepting the love of both her friends and her mom. Of course, that also counts as friendship, but... Impmon's redemption was exactly through the friendship to his partners and the rest of the digimons and tamers. Just imagine a fiery Kitsune for Renamon's armor digivolution, that would be badass. And you can clearly picture a digimon with a beelzemon type helmet with a thunder horn just like raidramon, and some cannon representing his Berenjena blaster.

Always love seeing these custom art videos, they're so creative. I really love Scorchdramon and Raijuumon most for these, but, WaterBearmon and MoonRabbitmon are so inspired, too. I find it really neat how with the Digimental of Courage, Guilmon looks to purge his Digital Hazard for the moment, also playing off a knights and dragons dichotomy. Raijuumon is really cool, very striking design that reminds me of the Kamaitachi and a nice balance of tokusatsu design work compared to Ryo's Justimon, which she had that rivalry with.

The sheer creativity of you and your collaborators’ ideas always shock me, and this concept is no different! I can totally see the crests being woven into the Tamers’ character arcs so neatly. Kenta being the first Digidestined to have a mega for a partner might force him to learn when and how best to apply MarineAngemon’s abilities, leading him to prioritize Knowledge and fighting like a real Tamer instead of a gamer. Kazu meanwhile would be learning how best he contributes to the team, maybe even seeing his self-sacrificing and supportive Guardromon as a role model for Reliability 😆. Kindness really is perfect for Jeri because her arc speaks to how being so empathetic can be a strength and “weakness” at the same time, and who could say no to plushy Leomon 🥰?? Ai can literally be spelled with the same character for “love”, so that suits her and Mako so well given how the Crest of Love has been used in relation to familial and platonic bonds in past seasons! I couldn’t help but applaud when you gave the Wong siblings Hope and Light haha, it just fits so well considering they’re partners have so many parallels. The use of Chinese mythical beasts is a classy touch too, I honestly wish there’d been more of it in that season. Yeah Sincerity/Purity for Ryo is the least applicable maybe, but he’s kind of a neutral character and it’s a “neutral” virtue in a way. Maybe his arc would revolve around being honest about his insecurities and fears instead of always putting a brave front up for the sake of his friends 🤔? Rika’s totally the female-blue-ranger of the crew 👏🏾, and Friendship fits her beautifully. The lupine/canine aesthetic was *made* for Renamon too, she’d be a total speed demon. (I also shipped Matt/Mimi as a kid, so Rika and Ryo having their crests makes me chuckle 😆). Courage is a given for Takato haha, but I especially love the dragon/knight aspect you get from using it and Miracles for him! All of this to say, 10/10 lol. Absolutely loved this video, and this artist is incredible!

I love all of these! But if I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably have to go for StuffLeomon! Incorporating Jeri's puppet into the design is brilliant, and I love puppet-Digimon like ExTyrannomon and Monzaemon (X), so I suppose it's only natural that would be my favorite. But they're all great. I also really like the idea of Impmon being connected to Love. Because in addition to what you said, Ai's name is read the same way as the Japanese pronunciation for the word for "love," so that really is a natural fit.

I love Paladinmon & Scortchdramon so much! Same for StuffLeomon! Cruisermon, MoonRabbitmon, & Tianmamon are also really good! I don't think it would be fair to give MarineAngemon such an overpowered Armor Form especially with a knowledge armor & keep in mind that partnership is only in the final arc. I love Raijumon's design although I think the name Kunoichimon fits the ninja appearance better.

Would love to see a second part to this where you swap the Digi-eggs around. I could see Leomon having Light, MarineAngemon having Reliability or Hope, Cyberdramon having Courage or Friendship. Impmon having Friendship. The 02 kids also kind of had the ability to swap Digi-eggs arounds though it was never seen in the Anime so why not do versions of each of them with each Digi-egg?

@@DragonKidMibu One thing I hope they do differently than the official Armors... well 2 things but I know Karn already agrees with one since he's mentioned it in videos before... but the other thing is the Digi-egg of Miracles and Destiny seem to always bring out the same golden Armored form regardless of which one you actually use. In a way it makes sense but Destiny has round smooth shapes to it while Miracle has hard edges plus the different crests that I would prefer actually translated to 2 unique armored forms rather than for example Terriormon still becoming a Gold Rapidmon despite using Miracles rather than Destiny. I think it takes away from the uniqueness of having 2 golden Digi-eggs if they both lead to the same armor form anyway.

I think it's pretty understandable that Ryu was the one with the left over egg considering he was just kind of thrown into that season with no real narrative purpose other then to promote the games (which didn't work too well considering most of the west doesn't know those even exist.) I really love these concepts and think it's a really interesting idea to explore. The fact that they basically got rid of crests in that season felt like a bit of a waste. I really wish Tamers got the same treatment as Adventures, I feel like it is the best suited season for a potential proper reboot or continuation. Especially exploring Ryu a bit and properly integrating his lore and exploring his role in the group dynamic as a outsider who was brought in would be nice. I understand that the writing team was kind of forced to use him and it's understandable that they struggled integrating him properly, but the idea of actually exploring the psychie of Ryu after everything and see him struggle to properly connect to the other kids after everything he personally went through sounds like something Digimon would have excelled in and also something a lot of kids who feel alianated from their peers and struggle with forming relationships would have related to. This would tie in with him getting the armor egg of senserity very well honestly and could have made for a great character arc

It is such a shame that Terriermon's and Lopmon's nature is not further explored, they both should be compatible with the digimentals and would be great to see their official evolutions with them. There are so many possibilities and questions like: if Lopmon used the gold digimental, would he evolve into Rapidmon too? would he skip straight to Cherubimon or would he have a different evolution? Also would be cool to see them team up and ultimately become Cherubimon X and Rapidmon X (either gold or normal but normal would be a first).

I kinda wish, while making all these fanon designs anyway, you'd thought up a 3rd Golden Digimental so all 3 of the core trio could Golden Armor digivolve. To go along with Fate and Miracles, maybe a Digimental of Blessings? Regardless, all of these were a delight to see, love your content

Raijumon and Scorchdramon are my favorite designs, because Raijumon just feels like an advancement of Renamon's shinobi theme that she had in the show, and Scorchdramon is a great reference to both Megidramon AND Gallantmon/Dukemon. Waterbearmon comes in third place to the previous tie, mostly because the idea of such a small Ultra-level throwing down with a giant like Omnimon tickles in a way that Waterbearmon's hits to Omnimon wouldn't. Paladinmon comes in fourth, since it looks like a gold plated precursor to Gallantmon, a sort of missing link in between Guilmon and his Mega even though Digivolution lines ignore that sort of sense. My only con to Raijumon is suffering the Lucario/Gardevoir hugging problem of having a large spike in the middle of the chest. But why would Rika be hugging Raijumon instead of Renamon anyways? But, remembering that there are alternate Armor Digivolutions, it has me wondering about alternate Armor Digimodifies. Plus, since they're "just cards", the Tamers could easily just trade them temporarily, or have a situation that gets their decks shuffled so they end up with different Armor Digimodify cards, since they don't have the same bonding effects as the 02 Armors. Reliability or Sincerity for Renamon as lessons that Rika learns similar to the Friendship; learning to rely on others and maybe being honest with her feelings. Plus I want to see how much MORE shinobi Renamon could become with the Sincerity Armor. Darkness could also come up as a reference to Rika's incident with IceDevimon since its a white/blue coloration match. Not sure what forms Reliability or Darkness Armor Modify would turn Renamon into though. Similarly, I'd really like to see a quadruped/drake version (Friendship) of Guilmon's line, or even a seadragon (Reliability), compared to the dragonman of the mainline, winged-naga of Megidramon and wyvern of Scorchdramon. Speaking of Megidramon, it could bring up the option of Darkness Armor too: probably get to explore a lanky form to counter the buff form of Growlmon and a callback to SkullGreymon. Besides Kenta, Henry always struck me as the smart one of the original three, so Knowledge makes a lot of sense to me, plus Terriermon's higher levels and previous suggested alternate Divivolutions from other videos all had an armored appearance. Not sure what Chinese reference could be used for it though. Alternatively, the Kindness Armor could be a counter to Henry's original holdup about not wanting to hurt others or let Terriermon hurt others. Plus Terriermon could hate the Armor Digimodify because of how much it makes him look more like a plush (PTSD of being forced to pretend to be a toy for Suzie).

I love all of them but I think my fave has to be either Raijumon or Paladinmon, I can't decide. Scortchdramon also reminded me a little of Charizard with the tail flame. I've recently watch the Jurassic Park/World franchise so Dilomon could have a sludge or acid attack because that's what the Dilophosaurus uses to incapacitate it's prey in the movies and I find Erosmon hilarious cos all I could think of is the big head cheat codes you used to get in games (probably showing my age there haha)
