God is my BFF! That may sound funny to some, but I’m fr. He’s the best. He’s never switched up on me. I can talk to him whenever about any and everything without worrying about my business being put out there. There’s no he say/she say going on when you have a solid relationship with God. Know that there is a higher power in control. When you build a relationship with a higher power, you don’t feel lost.

I love this. So true! I always tell ppl that Almighty God is my BFF! You have to experience heartache and loss to really understand how He is our BFF. He is the only stability I have in this world.

@@latoyabolt9459 Yeah! Depending on you’re talking to some go LEFT when you start speaking about God. But if you have no relationship with him or haven’t experienced how he works you’ll never know until you give him a try. We’re so quick to try everything else, why not JESUS.

Karolyn, you are so right. We must spent time with God. I don’t know about anybody else, but I know if I don’t spend time with God I feel like my day doesn’t go as smoothly. Does anybody else feel like that?

Have to be honest. Taking time to have a conversation with God brings peace. Our phones and social media have become DISTRACTIONS. There was time we didn’t have all of this. What happen to the days of sitting and having a face to face conversation with a family member. What happen to having family dinners and everyone is present laughing, catching up with one another with no phones present. Think about it 🤔! We have to go back to the foundation that was laid before us from our grandmothers and mothers and just ways that we were raise.

What a timely video! This morning I spent intentionally with God as I usually do but I noticed lately I've been rushing my time with him. So I crossed off everything I usually do in the morning (working on my business) and I spent this morning in praise and worship, I read the word and said an intentional prayer over my life. What's funny is God gave me more time to spare this morning than I usually have. I'm like WOW! God will give you more time as long as you dedicate it to him first. God wants our first and our last and he will replenish our first and our last with even more than we had before. Yes jesus!

Most of the time i do struggle in my prayer life i often find it hard to put into words what i actually want to say to god i do become frustrated i want so badly to have a relationship with god but i always feel that my prayers are not prayerful enough .

God says to come to him like a child, as he is our Heavenly Father. He loves you and he wants to hear your voice. You're one of his children. Just talk to him from your heart, as Marc said. Just tell God how your day was, thank him for everything good in your life and ask him to help you. Just open up your heart to him and just go from there. You might end up talking to him for a half hour and not realize it lol

I'm on a journey for better. I constantly hear people and voices threatening me. Trying to CONVINCE me that they are GOD. I hear whispers and all. I'm actually hearing them now. Like they getting mad cause I keep fighting. I feel crazy at times but I feel they want me to go crazy and look dumb. I'm just asking for reassurance that it's not. The intro alone is SO HELPFUL- this is something I've been struggling with! I am glad that you opened with the disclaimers about these tips not being rules and legalism because it is easy for me to fall into that mindset sometimes. Everything you addressed were worries of mine, feeling like I didn't follow the rules or have this awesome praise and worship session or bible study each time I spend time with the Lord. I have really been working on spending time with God and being intentional about doing so every day and I feel like God has been sending me gentle reminders and encouragement and this was definitely part of it. Thank you for clarifying what time with God CAN look like but also clarifying that it does not have to look a certain way and that God just wants our time.
