Hot take: Add a 6v6 mode as an experiment/arcade mode, just let the players see how it would feel. Change nothing except for tanks lower health like when they're in open queue. I personally would love to see the new tank combos that could be made! Open queue was the ruleset before role lock and we have a gamemode for it, we should do the same for 6v6 imo. Just have it be like open queue and let 6v6 be it's own unranked mode. I don't see the harm in adding more ways to play the game! The whole game doesn't need to change back to 6v6 but it would be nice to have an way to queue up to play it instead of making/joining a custom game

@@Giimbapp I don’t think they would tbh, with the amount of old players they would bring back (myself included) I think it would balance itself out. Worst comes to worst you could switch it out for open queue

I am personally a push hater. Note I only play quickplay, and of course my evidence is personal and anecdotal, but I feel like push games waste my time. Rarely do I have a push game that doesn't go the full time, and most of them are decided when you lose the first 2-3 fights. It feels exceedingly hard either to end a push game early or to have it undecided until the last minute, and I get frustrated that I could have queued up and played a whole other quickplay match between a push game being decided and it finishing. Side note but I actually love flashpoint, as that mode to me feels like it has proper back and forth, and I feel like my flashpoint game outcomes are much more varied in terms of point counts (some rolls, some back and forths, some comebacks etc).

Hot take, the best way to balance kiri without touching her abilities at all is to make her have 175 hp . I think it works perfectly cause she has a relatively small hitbox , suzu that practically makes her invulnerable , and a get out of jail free card with her tp

Agreed, Mauga Rework idea: Cardiac Arrest (I mean Overdrive!) would give him damage reduction, 10% speed boost, and super buffed melee attacks. This would pair better with the fantasy as his ult’s name, Cage Fight, would make more sense. It would also make more sense logic-wise, “I have two hearts, therefore I heal when I shoot?” He should also require more shots on tanks to ignite them.

I do not think flashpoint is a good game mode. The distances to the points from spawns feel far too long. If you lose a point while still being alive, you often either have to reset or endure a long, grueling walk to the next point. To me, it feels like the actual team fight “uptime” so to speak (how many team fights occur) is much lower than other game modes, and is instead replaced by constantly relocating, walking, etc.

To me, it feels like flashpoint is some sort of iteration/spinoff of the typical tug-of-war game modes that are seen in many shooter games (like frontlines in the battlefield series), and the way it was implemented just makes it feel like a jumbled, chaotic control game mode on a comically large map.

The thing is that this was a game mode in Gundam Evo, but every mobile suit in that game could Sprint. They could all sprint to the objective. That's what's missing in overwatch and makes that game mode slow

Already wrote this on the previous video so just gonna copy paste. TLDR: Supports Healing other Supports for only 50%. So Ana does not heal 70 per shot but 35. i have a hot take that i have never heard before: A healing penalty for supports healing supports. We all now that moment where u r a tank/dps who just killed both enemy dps and tank but not matter what u r doing (hitting all your cds) u just cant kill the moira that heals the kiriko and the reverse. More than anything supports that pocket each other r just the most unkillable things in the game because of small hitbox + support passiv + escape tools. I thought how about a healing penatly of like 50% when healing the other supports, these will also be a minor buff to the dps bc now sometimes it will be worth healing your dps instead of your other support. Like for example Kiriko heals 13 per talisman and she throws 2 at the time and u have 5 that means 10 talisman with 13 healing = 130 healing which is just overkill there is like nothing in the game that does similiar dps especially considering how easy it is to "hit" these comparing to dealing damage. And for people saying just lower the healing u cant really do that bc u need this type of healing for your tanks otherwise they will just always fall once 5 people shoot them. Obviously 50% is a lot and it can definitly be lowered, but a really feel like this could help remove some of the most frustrating things in this game. (That being unkillable pocket supports) Feel free to disagree and tell me your opinion.

I feel like Reaper's wraith form is fine, I think his shadow step is the part of the kit that needs to be changed. It feels clunky to use and dopey to watch. I could see it functioning a similar way but reaper turns into a wispy wind that flies towards his location while invulnerable and can cancel to fall out of the air midway. This would allow a lot more nuance to his mobility and would look a lot cooler than standing still. They could still have a similar wind up time/exit time to keep the weakness of the skill the same but adds a lot more interest

Hot take: Kiri two shotting squishes is fine since it takes skill, but the aspects around her damage make it frustrating to play against. What makes her damage annoying: - Shots have no damage falloff - It's a projectile which can feel annoying when it has burst damage from range (like hanzo arrows across the map) - Her mobility lets her get into positions in and out quickly to two-tap - Her shots come out quickly, so you can get 2 tapped without much reaction time - Her arms can partially block her head hitbox during some animations, making her even harder to headshot in duels. (along with her generally slim hitbox) Fix these things, and I think Kiri would still feel fun but not as frustrating to duel against.

Hot Take: Doomfist is THE BEST Tank in the game but his requirements of proper cooldown management coupled with a technical play style makes him unappealing to most players and therefore seen as bad

Hot Take: Kiriko's Suzu does too much. It has to either give invulnerability (and deny adding status effects) through a skillshot as is or cleanse status effects (it can keep the healing to stabilize a fight). Give the unused one to a new hero and balance the support roster's abilities

Yep it should cleanse and heal. I think only Bap should have the cooldown that provides immortality because that is literally what it is. The intention of Suzu is the cleanse, the brief immortality is an extra and a massive one at that.

Hot Take: Baptist’s ultimate should be reworked as such: Instead of receiving a 100% increase in damage and healing, he should be forced to choose which of the two stats will be affected before placing down his Amplification Matrix. This would make the player consider the situation at hand and decide which type of amplification will best help the team fight.

I disagree. We form our in-game strategies and plans around the expectation that certain heroes have certain abilities and if you can’t predict that,then it becomes quite difficult to coordinate and make plays. Anyway,most Bap players use window selfishly on a high ground to get picks and from my experience,it’s not too often that a Bap will use his ult for the amplified healing

I'd like to see a Reaper rework that takes inspiration from his appearance in the original 'Museum' trailer. Put Wraith on his secondary fire, and in it's place give him a 'Smoke Bomb' ability. Smoke Bomb would be like an explosive shotgun blast that obscures the view of heroes caught in the blast (like having you screen inked in Mario Kart). Depending on how close they are to Reaper, the smoke would last longer, maybe up to 3 seconds. It would have no affect on heroes who aren't facing towards you. Would be useful when used with escape tools like Shadow Step, or Sombra's Translocator. Would also be really funny if a Genji deflects it and Reaper blinds himself.

Reaper hot take to build off of the one presented: Reapers wraith should have 3 charges, move faster and have less time allotted in wraith form. You can only use the ability when all charges are available and they must be used within a 4 second time frame of each other, being shorter each time its used. Wach charge has a 4 or 5 second cooldown and this cooldown starts once all charges are used or u miss the window to use another consecutive charge. Make it something he is constantly jumping in and out of, boost his mobility and also with the ammo reload he will be alot more lethal when it is available. Almost make it function similar to how nurse in dead by daylight functions.

Hot take (hehe): Rein's fire strike should light enemies on fire. Like damn, it's in the ability's name. If something should burn your enemies, it should be a massive blast of flames... Thematic, brings more consistency (in game, less "firery" things cause burning), and a neat buff.

Giving everyone self-healing won't fix most dive heroes issues. In current gameplay, if a Genji/Tracer/Sombra misplays and dives an Ana with both sleep and anti cooldown they will still get diffed. Same with diving a Kiriko, a passive heal won't fix a two tap hero. However, heroes like Reaper/Doomfist will become extremely powerful as they recieve this passive when not taking damage, they can dive in and then get out to high-grounds/off-angles and mix their ranged damage+passive to regen what was lost. This passive will mostly be crazy on shield tanks, making Rein/Sigma trade shield for life. My point being, I don't think adding passive regen is that bad. Especially if its similar to support's passive. "But Sombra regen would be broken." in the time it would take for them to regen they could have grabbed a mega and been back in the fight faster.

hot take: i think blizzard should start including the community more. getting artists to create community skins that is only purchasable with the in game currency, featured game modes from custom game creators. it just feels like they only ever involve streamers ( which isn’t a problem ) but i feel like there can be more and should be. both dead by daylight and apex legends feature community artists in their cosmetics. apex did a anniversary where many artists and streamers created cosmetics and dbd had community artists create skins and had the dbd player base vote on them. i think it would just be better overall for the game to have the community involved.

I dunno the temperature of the take really but I kinda feel like we need another hit scan Support. Certain DPS heroes come out and your picks are Ana (kinda) who has no mobility and Bap who has falloff and a hard burst (Ilari is good but disabled in comp at time of post). When the Pharah comes out and your DPS/Tank won't handle up on that, it's basically GG Next. If it's a Pharah + some form of dive, you're absolutely cooked. Not saying that the Support has to have good everything - give them shit heals comparable to Zen's Orb - I would just like to be able to defend myself and still kinda do my job when the rest of my team refuses to do theirs.

I honestly like push a lot. It’s probably my third favorite behind escort/hybrid. Definitely enjoy it more than flashpoint.

Better than flashpoint is an awfully low bar to be above. Both new modes suck IMHO. Push would be 10X better if the standard game length was 6 mins instead of the miserable 10.

@@spacepope7867 I only referenced flashpoint because it and push were the two new modes. Flashpoint is way worse than push. I like the current time limit of push. If it lasts the full length, it’s typically a really good/fun match.

Gonna strong disagree with ya there boss.@@barrettbritt Me and my friends only ever enjoy push when it is over fast. All other game modes time extends based on push and pull. A control map can end before the 3rd map shows up, escorts time get extended based on how far its been pushed up/checkpoints reached, ETC. Push doesnt have that. Always ten minutes. Pushing the enemies team in but just cant get the cap at spawn? Ten mins. Getting your ass absolutely handed to you? Ten minutes. For me push rarely ends with the payload ACTUALLY reaching the final point. It is usually decided by who pushed it further. So again most games are not ending before that ten mins is up. Maybe if the time was extended from 6, and they add 2 mins for each of the checkpoints that can be reached. Then theres the counter intuitive issue that, after a won battle where you have taken some losses, it is usually a detriment if 2 or so team members actually keep pushing the robot frequently. All they do is push the robot to the enemy spawn, away from the team for the regroup, and march the bot right into the enemy team freshly respawned as a group. I cannot count how often this happens in QP. So even if we are 80% to the enemys 20% all game, we never get enough to finish it. Or you can do similar, be crushing all game, then right at the end the robot sprints to the opposing spawn since he doesnt have to push the thing, runs to them, and they are able to march it back and win in OT. Just because the game has gone on so long the team loses focus. Especially when you are pushing the other team in so the fights all tend to happen in the same area. 8 mins of fighting on the ramp/high ground point on Toronto, just to have the robot do a quick pacing trip back to the neutral middle to get walked RIGHT BACK to the highground choke. It also suffers from the worse map variety of any game mode. Sure it is big, but it is a literal mirrored map, so half of it is unique, and you are playing on the same map the whole game. Escort maps have very different vibes/chokes depening on the section. Havana first is WAY different to havana second. Same with the third. Push is just the same mirrored map the entire ten minutes..

@@barrettbritt For sure a matter of opinion, and you are totally welcome to yours! But personally - even with the QP leaver changes - i will write a joke and then immeadiately leave any push game im put in nowadays at hero select. I know its a bit toxic, but its unfortionately the only way Blizz listens to players on this shit. The only reason they adressed Paris was cause people would MASS LEAVE anytime the map came up. Hell, 2CP in general was removed for that reason. I dont rage quit mid game, I try to go ASAP so they can hopefully get backfill before the game starts, but i play to have fun, and if i hate the game mode and dont find it fun, AND blizzard wont add a game mode specific mode browser option. Remember when Halo Infinite merged slayer and oddball? And people were upset cause they dont want to play random game modes, they want to play what they chose. Push is oddball in my slayer playlist

I believe dps/tank players blame support because support players mistakes lead the more direct consequences(teammate dying). Where as a dps mistake might be shooting a tank when there is a critical enemy, which is less obvious

hot take: i really like the idea of a global self heal passive and it opens the door for more interesting balance changes. maybe a different DPS role passive? maybe something that gives every character lifesteal but only from their ultimate or while it's active? a smaller range to be able to hear their footsteps? increased movement speed while out of combat? the current DPS passive doesn't really feel like much on any character other than ashe imo

I dunno man, yesterday on junkrat I hit 6 direct bombs and 2 c4s on a tank, and their hp was actually increasing the whole time. I think there is already a ridiculous amount of healing throughput in the game that makes it unfun to play anything other than 1 shot heros.

@@bobothebob4716 there will definitely be other balance changes to go along with the global self heal passive when next season drops. it won't feel exactly like the game as it is now just with health regen, they did said they wanted to lower both burst healing and damage a bit ago so maybe it won't feel like everything is unkillable. it might feel more fun, whos to say until it actually goes live?

Hot to lukewarm take but I think the game should experiment with forms of "healing". Outside of Ultimates, Supports don't have a way to give shields/armor just overhealth from a few Ults. I think going in the future, we should have a Support built less around raw healing, but gives mitigation and or shields. This will 100% require tuning of regen heals, damage for somethings, and health pools. Think of a new support who has super light raw health regen, but can grant a 4 Second damage reduction and apply a tiny bit of overhealth. This could reduce the bloat of healing AND damage both if done right, but it can really ruin some heroes or enable some. I love the concept of armor and shields but they are never given out to allies since they removed and or reworked armor packs and shield gen-esc mechanics.

I've been saying for months that role passives should be changed into selectable passives. Nerf HP regen to fall more in line with the other role passives and let the player choose what passive they get. I think that would be better than all roles just getting passive healing.

Hot take: Endorsement levels should get a bigger role in matchmaking. It's one of those mechanics that seem to be forgotten by the devs, but in reality, it speaks a lot about the player's behavior. Most Players with endorsements 1 and 2 (excluding new players, obviously) are people who leave games, get toxic in chat or its constantly getting avoided and reported by the vast majority of their teammates. Have them play among themselves or just give them the last row seat until they learn how to behave properly

Hot take incoming!!! I think changes like self heal passive and other recent changes are just the devs coming to terms with overwatch no longer being a competitive team game. Most of the player base is casual players who picked the game up randomly play a couple matches and leave for the night. Literally, no one has played comp in so long, even most streamers are now quickplay warriors. The game may not necessarily function better this way, but it’s just reacting to the actual player based that is here and making improvements to them. The overwatch league died for a reason. This game is no longer a competitive team shooter its a casual role based fps. The Devs have come to terms with that and the community needs to also.

Hot take: hero bans wont be good for the game. As Spilo pointed out in a tweet after doing Hero Ban PUGS, people wont ban the meta heroes, they will ban the heroes that they think are unfun to play against, like Hog, Bastion and Mercy. They tried it as weekly bans in the past and nobody liked it, so they removed it.

One of the big things you miss from the list of "sustain" is damage reduction, armour, and defensive ability creep. Most of the time when people have pointed the finger at supports for sustain being busted, it's come off the back of stuff like gigabuffing Bastion's damage reduction in turret form, or giving Orisa bonus health and DR in fortify, or Mauga giving the entire team DR and lifesteal.

I think, in general, supports want a more chill , laid back, less stress role. You get 4 layers of defense . Tank, damage ,cover from the geometry in the maps, and then your abilities . Tank get less forgiveness for mistakes . And the whole lobby notices . Makes it less fun and more stressful. Cater to the most popular role. Healer.

you were so on point when you said that its not about healing output but about the immortalities, as a tracer, when i try to fight a bap, it just feels impossible to take him down when he can regen burst and then lamp or when kiriko just suzu's Also, Push is my favorite game mode for sure by far.

11:30 im not sure if rein can shatter in sig ult but iirc he can in zarya grav, it pulls him out and onto the ground. If its not like that already with sig, it'd be better that way than setting it off in the air. Lucio beat has a sphere of a hitbox, while rein has a forward cone- making it harder to balance the aiming of it. Imagine if a sig was just out of range for the hitbox and the shatter was wasted.

Healing numbers or damage numbers are not the issue, the REAL issue is all the immortality abilities, fades, cleanses, and that damn Lifeweaver pull; essentially all the get out of jail free cards that were designed for the lowest of elo.

Hot take: I swear ranked is extremely unfair at times for solo queue. I know that there’s usually a 50 50 chance to win or lose but there are times where I just get rolled 4 to 5 times in a row without any progression at all. Especially when it seems like you were meant to win a game and then bam a teammate just randomly leaves and your win just goes out the window. And yet they don’t have the power to put someone new in to the game to even the game. I’m a Gold player so it may be different in higher ranks but still

I’m currently Diamond and I found there are more leavers in silver/gold matches. My mindset is that even if I have 3 games in a row with leavers on my team, I know that eventually there will be just as many games given to me for free

This is maybe less of a hot take now since the devs confirmed that tanks and dps are getting a nerfed version of the support passive but I think that everyone should get the new version and supports should be given a new passive. My idea would be to give them a small movement speed buff to help them get in LOS of their teammates

Hot take: there was nothing wrong with 2cp, people just don't like the defending side spawn being too close to the last point. Just move it 30m away and make the last point have more cover so it would be hard to capture just like the first 3 maps people like the most and its fixed. Even less of a problem since you get to play both sides in succession.

Ults are considered more valuable and take time to build up. Skills on a cooldown with one press countering ults frustrate people. People don't mind when Zen or Lucio counter an ult, since they also had to burn an ult to counter it.

Lifeweavers nonconsensual control of teammates position is super frustrating. I can't tell you how often I have had cool downs to use but get snatched away from the fight. It kills the fun/ mood for me every time

Torbs turret should only last for 9 seconds, upgrading itself from level 1 to level 3 every 3 seconds. Making it less of a persistent threat, more of a burst threat if left ignored, but easy to eliminate if you address it immediately.

Doom's Empowered punch shouldn't be countered the same way a normal charged punch does. It's supposed to be a stronger, more forceful punch. So why shouldn't it be able to punch through a Rein Charge or Brig Shield Bash without being knocked down? Hell, let it be the only thing that can counter Mauga's unstoppable charge. They're technically supposed to be equal in power lore wise, so it'd make sense to allow it

It never seems like I can win 2 games in a row. After I do well in one game I get bad teammates or I go against really good opponents for the next 5 games until I finally win one and then it starts over again.

Hot take: the games role system limits design. What if we had some bridges between roles (like if brig had less healing but was also more of a tank. Making her a tank healer) Also “support” shouldn’t always mean Healer. I want supports that can do other things (this is what made old sym interesting even if it was executed poorly)

Hot Take: With significant amounts of testing, if everyone gets the healing passive, teams should be 3,1,1 instead. 1 Tank, 1 Support, 3 DPS. Only if the support wouldn't be too beleaguered though.

i just want bob to not be hacked for his full 13 second duration off sombras hack emp i understand but can’t count how many times my entire ult was completely useless against sombra because she can get a free hack on him out of nowhere he can’t defend himself and just sits there for 13 seconds and my whole ult was ruined all because i literally can’t see the sombra in invis 10 feet in front of me

@@nonipplenoah6179 I'm a Sombra main and I agree with that too. I don't know how it makes sense that he's hacked for the full duration. Maybe the 4 seconds or whatever, but not the entire duration just for hack. EMP sure. That's ult for ult. Also, Bob WILL shoot sombra out of hack if he's not already shooting someone else, since he counts as a player. Turrets are free hacks, Bob is almost free. But yeah, that's an interaction that I don't agree with.

hot take : i think the game needs a global nerf to healing and damge (as flats said ) but if they dont want do that i think they should buff armor a little bit for maybe 40 or 45 perc of dmg red and lower how many the tanks have of it and add a new health color or whatever its called which is basically a small armor that has 15 per dmg red and just add it to heros that feel it needs something for example reaper

Hot Take: The game needs a concede option, especially now that you’re punished for leaving QP games. 3 of 5 team members need to vote to concede Then you can leave without punishment. In comp, the same mechanism could exist and the game ends on the third concede vote with the conceding team taking a loss.

Definitely should not exist in comp, with the way the maps are set up it's almost always winnable, with Push being the only really snowbally map. It would just lead to people giving up too early and throwing if their team doesn't agree to give up.

Since they’ve changed push a couple months ago, I’ve actually really enjoyed it. I don’t know if it’s my favorite, especially since I feel like closing out a match is a little too hard, but it’s pretty fun now. They should just increase spawn time a bit for the enemies when near the final cap point

@@Soundwave1900they did some changes with how forward spawn worked, making not as strong for the attacking team, and allowed you to press the interact key to move to the new spawn room after losing the old one either by losing or gaining progress. Along with some other respawn time changes

Person who made the 9v9 comment here. Id be down for something like 7v7, but I said 9v9 specifically because it would be 3-3-3. And I think that would be the most fair. And to the chat saying it would be too much to look at, like, yeah, that’s the point. Of course Karq thinks healing is fine and just wants Lamp and suzu nerfed lol. Ana Mafia member detected 👀 You cant be both AGAINST changing Antinade/defending it as not being that bad, AND AT THE SAME TIME want to nerf its only counters. A nerf to lamp or suzu are a net massive buff to antinade. Those two abilities were specifically added to be counters to anti-healing. They are LITERALLY THE ONLY COUNTERS TO ANTIHEALING. ONCE HEALING IS NERFED, THOSE WINDOWS OF INVULNERABILITY WONT BE ENOUGH TO GET THEM FULL. Without net healing (and damage) nerfs, simply nerfing lamp and suzu just gigga-buffs antinade as long as tanks dont have a resistance to it. I dont buy the argument that the complaints on healing is over. Its still super talked about outside the support bubble. But hell, ill play devils advocate and say sure, the bubble you are in have stopped saying that (even though Flats is still saying it) How does gigga-buffing Antinade by removing its only counters make the 'tank experiance is miserable' argument? Are you really saying THAT isnt talked about anymore? The ONLY reason lamp and suzu are so strong is cause ; A) healing is so OP you can get someone back to completely full HP EASILY during the ability duration, and B) THEY ARE STRONG BECAUSE ANTI-NADE IS STRONG Despite your copium like on your support tier list, I agree with Flats and my experiance season 8 that the winning team was USUALLY the one with the better Ana. And why do you even NEED the Kiriko? TO SUZU THE ANTINADE. ANTINADE REMAINS THE ROOT ISSUE OF BOTH LAMP AND SUZU, NOT TO MENTION THE ISSUES IT HAS BY ITSELF ON THE 5V5 TANK EXPERIANCE.

Genuinely curious what Ana/Anti nerfs you would suggest if you actually want to nerf Suzu and lamp? Nerfing them is a MASSIVE net buff to Anti/nerf to ALL tanks because you are nerfing the literaly ONLY two counters for it. How do you keep Anti in line while nerfing those? And dont say the .5 nerf this season makes up for it, cause a nerf plus a buff is a literal wash at best, and id say nerfing both counters is a stronger buff than taking off .5 of a second is a nerf.

@@zhipengshi7966 Oh i mean, ideally that is the answer. Personally I would love for them to address global healing and damage before messing with Ana more. I DO quite like Ana. She is my Third most played support and 5th most played hero overall. But what id like and what actions/the type of actions i actually think the poorly lead balance team will actually do are two very different things sadly. Ideally anti-healing would be an actual mechanic that more heros have AND more heros have answers too. And if healing and damage are lowered, that also makes those abilites less overwhelming while still being useful. I think it was Stylosa who was talking about how these 16+ second ability cooldowns arent fun for anyone, the user or the person getting hit by it. I would love shorter cooldowns on abilites with more counters. But all we have seen with the new cast has been Kiri as far as a new cleanse, and that is already a very controversial ability to say the least, and then you have JQ with hers only on her ult, so its either easily countered by cooldowns designed to deal with Antinades much more frequent up time, or when it does hit, actually feels balanced. I do like JQ's design quite a bit. But nonetheless. we only have two heros that add to the pool of giving us more options, we know the next hero is damage and basics of their kit, so they for sure wont be an addition. So even if Every single next 4 heros had either antihealing or a counter baked into their kit..... how long would that take? Hero every second season, season lasts about 9 weeks, so 9X2=new hero wait= 18 weeks. Call each month aprx 4 weeks - thats being generous - and its 4.5 months for a new hero. so it would be 18 months from when Vantage drops .... IF every single hero had some sort of antihealing interaction, for us to have a reasonable amount of it in the game. They would have needed to actively pursue making giving it more options on release if they did want to do what you and I think would be best, but sadly they did not. Now - aside from them adding it to heros through reworks or increasing the hero release schedule quite decently - I think it would take to long to fix by adding antiheal-options peacemeal every 4.5 months if that is literally the only type of hero they drop post vantage.

Hot Take: If Sym were to return as a support, Lifeweaver has to be removed and rework Illari. Because when you think about it, much of LW's kit can easily make the transition to Sym. Same for Illari, but really only to her turret -Weapon: Sym's weapon as the primary source of DPS and Lock On Healing with Alt (even keeps her interaction with shields). Heck, it may even feel better due to the quicker transition between the two -Turrets: Keep the same, though with reduced damage, and maybe even a healing property for teammates passing through them -Teleport: Keep as is as it could be good for reposition and potential saves -Ultimate: Give LW's ult to Sym, but in the form of a giant lotus

I think its more about nerfing overpowered and frustrating characters then buffing underpowered and weak characters, if u bring down characters like mauga sigma etc into rein's level u not only made a very strong character less frustrating and overpowered but you also indirectly made the "underpowered heroes" stronger and easier to play, a balanced game is when all characters give you results depending on where you are in the skill floor to skill ceiling range, for example a character that requires less overall skill be it mechanical or in terms of game sense like maybe orisa shouldnt be stronger than ball unless the ball player is closer to balls skill floor

Hot take: More heroes will make the game easier to balance (over time like 60+). Overwatch is more similar to a MOBA like LoL or DOTA than an actual FPS like CS or Val because it's abilities based first. After the Clash game mode is released for Hanaoka, they should focus less on game modes and more on releasing heroes. 1 hero per season and 1 new game mode per year would keep the game more fresh than it is currently.

They still outsource loads of their skins, and are no longer making much PVE content so I don't see how this couldn't be a possibility. More maps for the game modes we have too and less focus on Hero Mastery and the new tower defense mode they're building would be great. Expand the workshop and let the community build new mods too.

A universal damage & healing nerf would fix a lot of problems in my opinion. Plus change lamp to be a damage mitigation tool rather then an invulnerability tool & remove the invulnerability aspect from suzu & keep focus on the cleansing part sounds like a better route in my opinion as well.

Hot Take: There should be a penalty in competitive for not having enough objective time compared to your teammates. In low ranks, the penalty would not be nearly as harsh, and you would have to have almost no objective time to be suspended(just to make sure you’re not suspending bad players for being bad) but if you have significantly less objective time compared to your teammates/other stats in higher ranks, you will be penalized.

Don't know if this is a hot take or not but I think they should lower all supports ammo count (damage wise not healing wise). This way DPS is the main source of damage, as it should be. And tanks wont be blown up as quick. Kiriko has 15 ammo count when it should be like 5 (they do extra crit damage and are fast, very strong). Illari just went up to 16 when she can 2-3 tap most hero's, she should be lowered to 10-12. Bap 36 ammo should be lower etc etc
