An easy tip I have for hanging anything straight, is take painters tape across the length of your picture or shelf and right where your holes are to hang, mark it with a black marker. Then peel off your picture/shelf and put exactly where you want it on the wall. You can even use the leveler to make it straight and adjust as necessary. Then screw in wall through the tape. Then remove painters tape and waa-laa! Perfectly where you want it❤

Yes this works great! I can’t remember where I got the idea (one of the KZbin channels) but just tried it on some very large prints I had from Kirklands and it worked perfect. I’ll never go back to the way I used to do trying to guess where to put the screw and getting it straight. Whoever come up with the idea is a genius.

I know Marie from cheapcraftygirl does that with the blue tape .Amanda from This crazy life puts tooth paste on where the screw holes are and then pushed on to wall and it leaves some toothpaste marks to put in the screws she nails iteverytime..

Yep! I use the blue painters tape trick too. We just moved into our new house in January and I have shown everything we’ve done on my channel and I definitely recommend this hack because it has saved me so many times when my husband wasn’t home to hang something for me.

Put painters tape on the back of shelf and then poke holes where the nails go. Then take the tape to the wall.

Hi karrie the bathroom looks just right for a little girl very pretty, you may know this already idk but when hanging something I put masking tape across the back and where your hooks are poke holes there,take tape off put on wall level ,put your screws in the holes it never fails ,I put pam cooking spray on squeaky door hinges ,thanks again
