@@Pyxyty prior to Astralis they were TSM and in a rock paper scissors with the legionary fnatic lineup and NV. Before that they were under dignatas and reached #2 world ranking. The structure of the Astralis core was built by him. A lot of the strats and plays they continued to use were developed by him and this is why his teams have always performed well against them even when struggling otherwise.

@@Pyxyty yeah. Karrigan is the one who made the change for device to full time AWP over Cajun after having them swap dependant on map. He is the one that came up with the grenade to cross doors on dust 2 to save a smoke for site defense. More than one meta has been defined by his contributions as an IGL. If he decides to coach when he retires as a player he'll almost certainly be the greatest coach of all time.

I think recently his playstyle and mechanics have actually evolved. I think he realized there is less need for aggression on ct side because of the m4a1-s meta. It's on t-side where he still makes his aggressive plays but unlike before he is usually in a tradeable position or he actually gets the entry kills (just look at the triple entry he got on inferno vs navi).
