Cop the side eye you got from Zena when she saw the size of Zuri's toy bag. Zena is amazing! She kept herself entertained for ages after she woke up. Zuri is amazing! She went straight back onto her ipad after the convo about the things she liked about travelling.

We have done a lot of Europe in a kombi and then returned back to Oz and are about to set off exploring Oz in a 4 wheel drive “Explorer motorhome. ‘ Whatever you travel in oka (or kombi ) and wherever you go europe/asia/america you are creating memories that will not only last a lifetime but will change your lives forever. I love watching your adventures and your family grow. I would like you to cover in the future things like when planning to take the Oka overseas the logistical aspects eg. How do you insure it for overseas travel, overseas breakdown cover,overseas medical cover and shipping it, who with? Roll on or roll off, container etc etc. we have shipped two kombi from Oz to UK and it was pretty easy and cost effective but shipping something a bit bigger than a kombi to a Country where you are a traveller not a citizen is a whole new ball game., and I for one would love to know how to do this. 😉

Extra price for CTIS option ? D. Freely availability of spare parts ? E. Are there a network around Australia or do you have to drop your OKA to Perth HQ for service or repairs ? What type of truck are you after???
@BEAM078117 күн бұрын
Most probably an Iveco Eurocargo 4x4 of 14 tons, the one with large single wheels on the back. It is pretty popular and affordable here in Europe. The other option would be an IVECO daily 4x4 of 7.5 tons but there is a trend among overlanders in Europe that says the 7.5 tons gets quickly filled and you often run out of payload. Mercedes trucks would be nice but the price range makes it not worth it..

Hi Karstan have you considered getting some hair clippers and cutting hair off. I've been clipping my own hair for 30 years and the benefits are way better than stuffing around with hair, especially long hair: cooler in the hot weather, no combing hair, hair instantly dry after shower, much quicker to shampoo, looks super neat, and looks way better than long hair, etc etc. with your own clippers it's Free haircuts. Get 2025 off to a great start, clip all the long hair off !!!

Hi guys you are beautiful. I love your two children and your smile and you are very very good now. I just wanna tell you I’m 74 years old. My husband 79 and we plan to do around Australia so tell me it’s gonna be difficult because it’s 16,500 k’s the whole thing. How long do you think will take us to do that? Some people tell us three months some six months so I just want your opinion thank you so much. Please let me know you’re the best and we like to see more views and more and because I’m half French you should go to France Mont Blanc that’s what you need to go. My son keep going in there all the time and this is my dream but I’m told for that and also grace Greece with your truck isn’t gonna be very easy because it’s got too many islands but you have to see it honestly thank you so much for your time. Q. What do I want more of & less of? A: More being in places & less driving footage would be good. That said I really feel like you are moving in that direction anyway. Karstan I appreciate your honesty about 'hyper focussing' on problems & also what I have come to call floundering. Both are things very familiar to me. It can be painful at times either wrapped up in solution finding or feeling directionless between 'chapters'. However, for myself at least I have come to see these things as necessary evils, & the more we travel, the more confident I become that the next 'direction ' (ie. the shape of the next chapter) will emerge, or that one way or another we will manage to 'get through'. This builds confidence & knowing that informs the next time it happens. It is now an expectation which no longer takes me by surprise. I love the freedom which comes from flexibility, & now see the times of floundering as simply being the occasional cost. If that makes sense? You & I are not the same, but I do think we have much in common, including having a wonderful partner to share the adventures with & who also provides support, encouragement & direction when it's needed. Complimentary teamwork. Seeing this video has helped to cut through the 'content provider/influencer bullshit' & has made things seem real again.Ta appreciate it. A move away from everything being 'exciting & awesome' gets top marks from me. Safe travels. Hope we might catch up at Silverton at the end of March.
