@@IamWestCoast Not neccesarily. Most people in Pakistan as well as North India are genetically mixed with the Turks, Mongols, Persians, and Macedonians. South Indians are the "real" Indians genetically speaking. During the time of Ashoka most of present day India was Buddhist, even Ashoka himself converted to Buddhism and Maurya converted himself and most of his kingdom to Jainism. Hinduism is simply paganism which has many variations, even Hinduism itself is not "one religion" its a collection of many religions which these days like many other religions is being run as business. While the pagans of Europe were completely wiped out by the Christians, the same could have been done to the Hindus if the Muslims wanted to fairly easily. So, you could have easily been a Muslim yourself. And, even if you have a hint of lighter skin, then you are also mixed genetically with these people as well lol. Enjoy the rest of your life.
