My problem with Karthus in low elo is your team will perma fight early while you're farming and in late game they will never play around your ult and get wiped in a pointless fight 1 min before soul point spawns with 40s to go on your ult. He just needs more coordination and above 10iq teammates to fully maximize. The jungle changes didn't help either.

the first clear is a little rough but ive been playing some singed jungle with that build you were doing for singed mid and its great the ganks are solid and with the right comp you become a menace to society i played a game with a zillian bot and a yuumi and i was so fast it was hilarious

dealing most damage as karthus is like getting highest cc score with nocturne. you dont need to focus on it and still be #1 at the end. with karthus i say 1/4 of damage dealt is useless, because you ult for 1-2 people most of the time but damage 5 of them. it adds up over a game.

Only ever really played him in aram, I dunno if you can change it but I find the fact that his q just casts at max range instead of moving to cast it where you q is so insanely unintuitive.

Not true at all, last stand is only good if you get low, if you're very strong and are behind teammates you can get multiple kills without getting low, and those multiple enemies that you killed ended up taking extra damage from coupe de grace while you wouldn't have gotten value from last stand. Sure most bruisers will prefer last stand because many of them stay on low hp for long times in a fight but definitely not ideal for ranged squishies with low mobility or no healing/survivability.

@@exotemp5949 I was just about to comment the exact same thing. A lot of people get fooled by the percentages. Because last stand goes up to 11%and coup to 8%. But like you said if you are ahead and playing correctly then you will get more out of coup as Karthus.

Coup De Grace is extremely misunderstood. When you look at the stats, it looks like Last Stand always outperforms but it’s because Coup De Grace serves a different purpose: it’s about slimming that TTK early game, even if by 1 auto, to let you snowball or get takedowns. Not arguing that Last Stand is bad, they’re both good runes, but people need to learn to look beyond the numbers to see what the actual use of the rune is

Karthus has strong clear and scale but very weak to counter jg, and in high mmr/elo they try to steal your camps all the time. And exhaust won't stop a good kha from killing you.
