/ff is an unfortunate mechanic. It's there for QOL of losing teams - which I get - but it makes players cave when they fall behind instead of learning to play when down. I wish the winning team got to have some fun with it or there was some stigma against starting the vote. Something like when the opponent FFs then the other team gets double damage and takes half damage, including their minions; At least you'd get to blow everything up. Then the FF instigating player gets, like, a ten minute lock from queuing again to combat the "go next" mentality.

Or have it be like 5 rank points to start a FF vote... would stop the constant spamming that happens when the bot lane fails but mid and top are like up 30 kills collectively stomping. Also would make it so you would mean it. I know it's a double penalty if you jsut screwed, but again if you are far enough behind for the FF to be actually meaningful then the game has things like the catch up exp, the objective bounty etc. So really FF only really valid when it's those 1 to 40 slaughters. Maybe you can't ff if there is less than a 20 kill difference? Mainly cause that was a really close game still. Talon was really successful on split push and WW was crushing 1v1. The ahri was pointless. Just needed to have a solid dragon fight and they would of one the game.

It's been years ago and the best game I've ever had was when we were loosing badly. Middle inhibitor tower half down. Other 2 under siege. Each of my team around 3-4 deaths more than kills. And I wasn't much better in KDA department. All this in first 20 minutes. But I played Teemo and could hold the base by myself so I've sent other 4 to group and take jungle and harass enemy while they focused in pushing. Global taunt FTW. We were in stalemate for like 15 minutes at which point we had mostly full builds. I switched my build from pure AP to on-hit(this was before AP had effect on auto attacks on towers) and with one push we got 2 inhibitors down and finally got the upper hand to win by minute 48. If we had FF14 I would probably go on 2 more meh games instead of one epic
