Thanks for the video. Brings back so many memories. I used to live there too. Same corner flat in A house (first year in room 64-A3, second and third year we were moved to 24-A3, so below the room you are showing). I used to live there from 2006-2009.

Well, actually there are 3 Tallinn University's dormitories. I am sure that for you, Erasmus students is told that just one, but no. Why? Because 2 of them are just so uglies that the management of dormitory just don't want to give a bad impression about Tallinn university's accomodation. So it is, that estonian students live in ''uglies'' dormitories as well as in Karu that is prepared extra for foreign students to... gain more money! Räägu and Västriku dormitories are...a disasters, but much more cheapers! Living is like in the age of Soviet Union: imagine that you have to share a kitchen and bathroom with 90 students! Moreover, you have to carry every time to kitchen-to your room your personal kitchen stuff, because as it is a ''rule'', not allowed to keep your stuff in kitchen and a very small refrigerator is next to your bed! Rooms are so small and very old-fashioned, not to say, a little dangerous, because of an old electricity system...and an unstable timber floor... awhh! Besides, there are no administrator in the house in case of some emergency.... Well, having concluded, I do not suprise that you, Erasmus students may hear this for the first time ever. I just wonder what they are doing with that money if they do not want to restore the rest of 2 dormitories, just the Karu is like a one pampered child...

Looks like you're living on the floor above me, so if you need any Estonian help/want to go out for coffee or something, hit me up. Neat video, by the way. But yeah, Karu dorm is the only one for foreign students. There are two more and while cheaper, not very great and way farther from uni.

There are double and triple sharing rooms. For double sharing, it's 170 euro and for triple sharing (140 euro around).
