I cut it down to 21 Rat Colonies. It still works great, but now I added cards like Dolmen Gate and Mirror Box to keep them out on the field longer

I prefer [Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm] as a commander, and this one as part of the 99. But generally speaking still a nice template to follow. And [Piper of the Swarm] goes in for pure flavor. :P

Could Angrath captain of chaos, 60 rat colonys, and land work? Makes each rat need to be blocked by 2 creatures.

That is correct. The card's rule text allows you to play any number of them in any deck.

One nitpick: When you say a land "doesn't take a slot in the deck," that is misleading. While it doesn't take up a spell slot, it does take up a card slot in the 99. I feel like some newer players could get confused by your current wording and think that lands don't count toward the deck total.

Yes, it is definitely jargon. But I doubt it would reach that extreme where players think a deck can go beyond 100 cards when nowhere on the card is it printed. I feel like this is hyperbolic.

Way to expensive just with the tutors then black market connections, then kindred dominance and at the end lands. Geez

Throughout the entirety of the video I'm commenting on how to make the deck either cheaper or more expensive. When mentioning the tutors I literally say: "If you don't want to play these, swap them out for three more copies of Rat Colony." When mentioning the lands (after Cavern of Souls) I mention that you can swap out the more expensive lands for basic swamps. Same with Phyrexian Arena and Black Market Connections, since I mention that the arena is redundancy for connections, i.e.: one of them is enough. In the end I even mention that if you wanted better mana acceleration to take out Dark Ritual for Jeweled Lotus. Everything in the deck that can be tailored to someone's budget is literally mentioned throughout it's entirety. Also, I am not a budget channel. Yet I constantly mention ways to cheapen the decks I'm presenting.
