i actually get botox for chronic migraine every 12 weeks! this was a very accurate experience and i really enjoyed it. super relaxing, i wish you were my neurologist LOL to anyone thinking about getting them for migraines just keep in mind there are 31 injections in total (15 on one side, 16 on the other) but they don’t hurt at all!
@andrewst5 жыл бұрын
The number varies depending on the person I think. I get lidocaine shots for my migraines and I only get 10 or 12 but my neurologist said that for the Botox I would get 36.
@taysteezyy5 жыл бұрын
Santiago S. yeah! i think it’s somewhere in the 30-36 region because they’re super small doses but in many places. in between my botox sessions i have occipital nerve blocks which suck lmao
@nocakefornicole5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the number differs per person, as does the dose. But also clearly does the pain. You say it doesn’t hurt at all - it always hurts me. I have no problems with needles (can have a blood test or vaccination with no drama) but my Botox injections are always very painful.

So, I got the Botox migraine treatment 2 weeks ago. It’s already started working. I’ve only had 2 migraines since then and they weren’t as bad. I’m on a high dose preventative and I take it 2 times a day. I also take a rescue medication when I get them. Mine were GOD AWFUL and I also have RA and a high pain tolerance. My doctor didn’t use any anesthetics. The forehead honestly hurts SO bad, 9/10. They do 5 sticks in the forehead and I instantly started sweating and yelled fuck lol. But the front of the scalp was like a 4/10; about 6-8 (can’t remember exactly) sticks. The base of the head was a 3/10 (6-8 sticks) and the shoulders were a 2/10 (6 sticks). The needle is just a quick sharp pain but the actual injection of the Botox doesn’t burn or anything. But I’d highly recommend it if you have severe migraines 15+ times a month. You go in every 3 months. My doc said they don’t cure it but the treatment tends to make them about 50-80% less frequently and severe.

Do you think maybe for the holidays coming up you could do like an "advent calendar of tingles" like an item in each spot of the calendar and then improv what you do with it? And then the next video you use what you got in the last one and the current one, Idk if that makes sense or if anyone has a video like that already but i saw some advent calendars from aldi posted today and thought it might make a good series

Hey mom! I’ve found myself rewatching your fishbowl effect videos over and over again recently. You should make another combined mimicking and fishbowl video since those are some of my absolute favorites. Love you
