Okay, so this is going to probably sound super sappy but Being a part of this project has done so much good for me. I've become way more confident in my singing thanks to everyone's support, and I can't help but come back here when I'm down and need a confidence boost. This year has been super tough to navigate between all the Firsts it's brought like, this video and singing publicly, to a lot of Lasts that I've needed to accept. Even so, I keep coming back here because it reminds me that it's okay for me to make some mistakes and have a few voice cracks here and there, and that in the end, I'll make it. I didn't think one song could make such a difference on my life, but it really has. So thank you, Karu, for inviting me to be a part of this. I'm so glad to have been a part of your musical journey this year, and I'm looking forward to everything in the future. You've put so much effort into every little detail, and worked so hard on making everything as perfect as it can be. Every song in the medley was beautiful, and while I'm biased (lol), you've brought a whole family of musicians to happy tears. Thank you for helping me find myself through your music, and for creating something so beautiful in the first place. I'm honored to be a part of something so amazing. It's an honor to call myself your friend. ✨ 💕

@@ARandomSpace This is probably just a me thing but I weighted a loooot of syllables way too roughly in some parts, and they sound very strange to me. That, and I was still recovering from being sick so I was worried that it might carry through into how I sounded ^^;; They're probably things that only I'd really be aware of, but, still. Pf

I heard zero mistakes. As far as I'm concerned, you're as good a singer as Jonsi, who sang the original, and that's something I don't say lightly. You did an incredible job. Actually, I think I almost prefer this one to the original. Very well done.

@Caldoric Жыл бұрын
@@ct7567CaptRex Test Drive and Where No One Goes are both equally good in their own right, especially since they share the same leitmotif. They both just have their own different places. Test Drive was, well, a bit of a harrowing moment for the two protags, where they learned to work with and trust one another on a deep level, while in the face of an imminent problem. Where No One Goes is more about the pure joy and freedom of flight, especially when the two of them are flying together, since they already have a brother-like bond between them that they can rely on.

Howdy! Im the vocalist! Thank you for the comment, I actually just recently found out that I'm actually a tenor singer and not a suprano, and I wasn't singing with my diaphragm, which made me go a little bit sharp on some notes and a little more flat on others. My professor and vocal coach have helped a lot! I've also recovered from vocal strain I didn't realize I had because I was still 17 and didn't realize I was forcing out notes I couldn't hit.❤️ Thank you for pointing it out, though! I have trouble spotting areas of improvement due to my lack of experience, so anything helps! I hope you'll still enjoy the other tracks Karu has done! He's fantastic! :D
