Mangalore is in Karnataka..where as kasargod is in Kerala.. Mangalore there are English boards might be according to litrature..there are kannada boards as well..but are you expecting malyalam boards all over Mangalore.. malyalam boards are there only in railway stations and Kerala popular dominating areas..that also for buisness..

I am Kannadiga from Kasaragod,Earlier there used to be boards in Malayalam, Kannada, English....But nowadays you can see only English boards in whole Kasaragod district.90% of Shopboards/bill boards in Kasaragod will have only English. People rarely put Malayalam board or Kannada board
