So wonderful to watch this. Thank you. I just finished watching Peshawa Bajirao Hindi serial and felt very happy to see Kashibai!s ancestral house. But very sad that the government of Maharashtra has not taken interest in preserving such a important heritage site. Instead of spending crores of rupees on monuments for politicians! Thank you for putting this on KZbin. You have done such a wonderful job putting this together. I am an Indian settled in Canada. I m very happy cause my grandparents house is just diagonal to chaskar wada.. When I visited their house I could see chaskar wada from the balcony..my grandparents still live there.... And next to the wada there is a ram mandir which too very beautiful and its named after my great grandparents 😌😌

10:36 That is written in Marathi. It is called modi lipi ( मोडी लिपी ). In olden times Marathi language was written modi lipi. Sadly, few decades ago modi lipi was dropped off from its official usage. Most of the ancient marathi literature was written in modi lipi.

I knew that she belonged to a place called Chas, but never heard about her house. In history people always remember about Bajirao and Mastani, but Kashibai is forgotten. I hope with your video, Kashibai will never be forgotten. I thank you once again for making this video. Also it is bad to see that government (both at state and center) doesn't seem to be interested in maintaining such places which are of historical importance.

UNESCO should considered the palace as World Heritage Site for the world to see and become a tourist spot. Warriors who fought for their country should be honored by the government and preserved and protected the place. Definitely true. One day, we will visit India and the place and home of Kashibai and Bajirao. Mastani was so fictional and we don't like it. My wife doesn't want to watched that movie or series. Kashibai Bajirao Ballal was fine right now with Aarohi Patel and Venkatesh Pande but once their gone, we won't watch it. We don't like the actor and actress and we don't want to sad and angry if they followed suit the fictional story of Mastani to be included in the story again. Love Love Love Aarohi and Venkatesh.

These places must be maintained as best as possible retaining old Glory ,with least changes ,Maharashtra Govt.,Under Uddhav ji Thakre must allot a sum of 50 lakhs to the present elderly person after cleaning the plant growth ,must clean the surroundings under Govt.,expense and make it a tourist spot and give 20 % of that collection to this family .Tradition and culture must be preserved ,Why not Uddhav ji ,do this and be a different leader ??? @@nitu9900 so true! Unfortunately, the Maharashtra government has done very little to preserve our historical monuments & sites, unlike other states who take pride in preserving them. Take Shivaji Maharaj's forts for example. Very little is done to maintain and re-establish the ruins. Maharashtra is equally rich in history & culture with valours of Shivaji Maharaj or the Peshwas but it has to be maintained well.

All of the forts, ancestral homes, rajwadas , samadhi a, etc of Shivaji Maharaj and the Peshwas are lying in ruins. All the hindu temples are also lying in ruins.Even the shaniwar wada of peshwas which is in the heart of city of Pune has not been painted or renewed since independence. The collection from tourists goes to government or local politicians which is used for some other purpose.God only save this country and give Hindus some ' akal ' which is been used only for their comfort and least used for the country.
