Maybe the most true of Delicate's versions of I've seen. Simple, 1 guitar, 1 voice, yet very powerful. There's no distraction from the emotions he lives throughout the performance. The rhythm was probably dictated by the gentle waves of the sea. Perfect.

First time listening to Damien sing again in 5 years. The Professor and Older Chests here broke me; the raw emotions from all those years ago instantly come back. Damien was always so unique in his improvisations; no 2 live performances of a song were always the same. 33:03 is already becoming one of my favorite Older Chests versions

actually, it is a vintage Martin 00-15 which is all-mahogany model. Damien also uses Martin 00-18v(sitka spruce top, mahogany back & side) sometimes as well.

Fyi the first 4 plus minutes is him tuning a guitar. I've been there but never filmed it and let someone to put up with it especially for a greatest hits that comes off of one record. Too much sex maybe. Yeah man, you sold us these ones already.
