WION your video is good but making a video on travel and culture means you cannot criticise other cultures. You might not agree, but you need not negatively comment. Moreover marrying early around 18 or so is not regressive. But allowing the age of consent at 12 years and letting youngsters fall into depression due to relationship failures is definitely regressive. Age of consent involves just 2 individuals without any responsibilities. But marriage is with responsibilities and people are answerable to an extent to law and society.

@@lunarbubun Yes, invitations exceeds the limits in many cases. Every plate costs thousand of rupees, not only that, the accessory stuff which is provided while giving meat included a lot of things. That also is necessary. And yepp, dry fruits which are costly in kashmir is also provided. Courses, include usually 7 or 8 dishes of meat for middle class, actually here nobody cares who middle class Or who is rich but still it depends how much they can afford. So, rich usually are a bit picky as well here in kashmir, but during marriage the course can go upto 32 dishes. People don't eat only on the day of the marriage but for many events wazwan is prepared like for piercing of ear, for any building a house, for starting a business or anything. It isn't only limited to marriage.

First of all there is no such thing as priest in Islam. Moulvi is not a priest he is a person who have adequate knowledge of Islam and nobody is dependent on moulvi for anything. Secondly he was right when he said people should get married as soon as possible because as we are humans we have sexual needs. So to fulfill those needs we have two options first one is we get married and fulfill our needs the halaal way and keep the society clean.
