Waiter was wrong in the restaurant..... I am from kashmir so i will tell you something about it...(trami) & (wazwan) are two different things... Trami is a metal plate in which there is served rice in the plate then methi, rista, gustaba, tabak maaz, rogan josh, milk meat ,kabab, sarwan, chicken,paneer and it contains 7 items in total but this trami is just like a thali but as in ur city Or any other place there people use to have buffet system in marriages but in kashmir we serve lunch in trami in marriages there 4 people eat in a trami the trami that was served to u in the restaurant was the trami for one person but the original trami is for 4 person and price would be something like 3000 Or 4000 . .. In kashmir we use to sit down on the floor because there is carpet on the floor and one big trami is served to 4 women's Or men's (men's and women's both are given lunch separately) in this trami first when any person will get to you... U will get rice, thoda methi, 2 kabab, and 2 big chicken peices( Fried) ... These 2 kabab and 2 chicken have to be eaten half half.... Then the kashmiri 👨‍🍳chef... (Waza) comes and gives 4 peice of each dish mentioned above... ☝ In between other local chefs also come and serve one salad plate , a big bowl of curd, a bowl of dry fruit pulao .. Then at the end waza comes with a famous dish that is (gustaba) a big one peice of it is served and it is to be halfen it 4 peices... Then if it's summer than mag be ice cream would be shared. .... nd in kashmiri cusine no allowence is there to take ur food ur self.. Nd one more thing air tight packets are also given so that if anyone can't eat whole of their portion they can take it home.... And wazwan are the dishes served in trami and in kashmiri cusine..... This was a little peice of information I can give u... Love from kashmir... Zobiya....

Trami is basically the copper plate you were eating in and wazwaan is served on trami it's tradition of kashmir that wazwaan is served over. Trami and normally trami is large size plate over which 4 people are together in marriage functions or get togethers and so on . And if you are still in kashmir I would strongly recommend you guys to visit pari Mahal if you haven't been there and there is a cafe on pari parbat fort do visit there aswell and if you still have time you can visit aharbal water fall drang that came before gulmarg and it's bad to see that your guide didn't told you about that place . PS : I am from kashmir so suggesting you a good stuff which you can do

The same thing happened with me. The taxi driver deliberately stopped near the sledge people and asked us sledge is only way of going to the gondola. We found the walking way and went by walk, but everyone guided us the wrong way. Kashmir is too costly!

I watch your videos continuously, I'm myself from kashmir, was excited to watch your kashmir journey but I felt disappointed like the way u did, I don't know what they get by scamming tourists. Even they try to scam locals here. Firstly they fix the cost and then double the charges when u are done. Felt sorry that u suffered all this here. Next time when u visit, never tell the drivers guides and receptionists that you are here for the first time or u don't know much about the place. And whenever paying for anything, do ask the locals not the commercial men whether the price is genuine or not. Eg. If u r trying something new in a restaurant ask someone sitting on the opposite table what to try, because locals have tried that already. And don't hesitate to ask them, surely they will help. Ask the random person who is walking on the road what to do, he will suggest the best, ask for prices, ask for everything. Surely u will see a difference between the true locals and the commercial scamming men! Hope it helps☺

Hello Bro. I have been there three times in gulmarg. Never take shoes and coat on rent bcz from srinagar u can buy new shoes by just 500rs. Sledge charges 300/- per person Never take guide bcz u can buy ticket easily and go by your own on phase 1 and 2. So u can do everything by your own and bargain in everything.

Yes We visited Gulmarg on 17th march 2022 There so chaotic situation, Agents come to you and bombard you with do this do that We denied all On ticket counter, all people take help of guide, who brings tickets while tickets can be purchased by self , ( however one has to find out where is the window coz there is no sign board) Hugh lack in infrastructure , methods should be ease and better if online, no benches for sitting for elders,no sign boards.very poor garbage management, You can find used packets bottles , masks on the road in ice every where. The beuty of Gulmarg is being sunked by their own locals , poor infra
