this was the first song that played through the radio on the first car I ever owned. 2013 brand spanking new Camaro. Right off the dealer, dad and I took it to a parking lot to learn manual. drove it home 2 hours later, 10 miles. stressful day. couldn't sleep, so I snuck out and took it for a late night joy ride. it was like 2am, and this song came in through the xm radio. 20 years old, brand new hot rod, windows down, warm summer night, music blaring. I'd drive the shit out of that car for the next 8 years before I traded up, but man I'll never forget that night or this song.

If you really listen to this song you will notice it is about Kaskade and his career. I think he's trying to get the point across that he was pushing this genre alone at a certain point, and hasn't stopped for years. I love that he's doing this in a subtle way and also tipping his hat as if EDM has finally made it, and he's glad he played a part. Legend.
