I just bought one of those. I got a 20% off holiday discount from a famous online auction site. I decided to get one and see if it lives up to the hype . Took it out this weekend. Not bad so far. Feels kinda cheapy but preformed flawlessly. We'll see if it lasts.

I love it when I et to the lake and there is no one else there, which is almost always the case at my condo community lake. Glad you got the bait back, every jerkbait I fished this year I lost on a snag.
@RealisticFishing7 жыл бұрын
Yikes, how many was that?
@kevinlilly74067 жыл бұрын
3 I think, and I really don't like fishing hard baits to begin with, so little success with them from shore.
@RealisticFishing7 жыл бұрын
Dang. What is your favorite from shore?
@kevinlilly74067 жыл бұрын
Well, what I have had the most luck with so far this year has been a NED worm or spinnerbait.On the NED the color doesn't seem to matter, I carry a mix of 4 colors of BPS 3" Stik-O and Z-Man RTD and they all catch fish. Spinnerbaits (generic term) I throw 1/16oz beetlespins up to 3/16oz BPS models. Best producing spinnerbait however has been the Strike King Mini Spin, again in almost any color. The only downside is my community lake has very few larger fish, maybe 5% to 8% of what I catch are 12" or larger.
@RealisticFishing7 жыл бұрын
Those sound like some good choices. I still need to get one on the ned rig.

3:40 a stix pounder! Yesterday one of the reservoirs I fish had recently had a dramatic drop in water level preparing for the snow melt. My grandson and I left that place with $200 + in lures we got out of the freshly exposed brush piles. Brand new jigs jerks n cranks. It was like Christmas in May :-)

@mr.fatbasstard6487 жыл бұрын
Realistic Fishing oh yeah. I figure that place owes me brother. $29.50 per day for launch and entry fees!!!! I give them a ration of shit every time I gotta cough it up!! But the lake has DD Larggies and 7-8lb Spots. Here in California they will figure out a way to charge you fees to fish in a mud hole off the side of the road. How about shit like: Fishery impact fees, Environmental fees, Transportation & road maintenance fees and the good ol 'your dog shit' Waste Management impact fee, that one's good for an extra 5 bucks if you bring your dog with you lmao..

I do not have the same problem with the replacement. But with a 50% success rate, I can't recommend it. If a beginner were to receive a defective one, you would have to wait to get an exchange. If you bought one at a store, you could exchange it right away.

You might try retrieving your lures with a paper clip and two 1 ounce weights no string just slides down your line. It will hit, if it doesn't let go lower your line and raise it up, knocking it again. Seen this on utube. It will work from the bank. Good luck sir.
