+Michael Hall cheers mate. You just can't knock it for the money. At some point i will open it up do a vid. I'm no expert at it but thought it would help others like me to do the same. Will get a shallow spool.

Thank you for the review, it helped me a lot, in particular the saltwater part... since i live at 3km from a river and 300m from the sea... so i will start at fishing in the river and maybe soon will try the beach.

Haven’t used the Royale legend so couldn’t say about it but Spartacus is a good reel for a first baitcaster.

@@cjsharris6517 Line Capacity(mm/m): 0.285/115, 0.33/90, 0.37/75, 0.4/60 just found this so i would imagine it will hold 130m plus of 20lb 0.2mm braid which is plenty for most if not all fishing situations. I use Spiderwire stealth 8 smooth now and it has an even finer diameter so more capacity. Hope that helps.

I get back lashes after every other cast with this exact real idk what kind of line to ues or how much to put on i had 15 pound braid on and would constantly get back lashes what line for you suggest and what break settings internal and external

I use Kastking Superpower 20lb but its better to use an 8 strand braid as it doesnt cut into itself and cause so many tangles. When you start put brakes to max both centrifugal and magnetic adjust your end tension knob so as there is no side to side play and when your lures drops off the end of the rod tip it is a steady drop and does not fluff up when it hits the ground. Try casting now. Make sure you side cast and the cast is a smooth cast. Dont try to hit the other side. Make sure your thumb hovers over the spool and feather the line if you feel it start to lift too much. Stop the lure just before it hits the water. Slowly back the brakes off until you are happy. You must do this again if you change the weight or type/profile of lure. Hope that helps? Keep everything smooth. I will do a video soon. I would back the centrifugal brakes off one click at a time from max to half way, then same with magnets. Every day is different i.e side winds, strong wind in your face. Adjust brakes to suit.

@@TheConstantAngler I'll definitely try this out I had some other like laying around I have 25 pound I think it's fluorocarbon or mono can't tell the stickers is all messed up but it's actually spooled all the way I had 100yards on with 15 pound braid and it wasn't even half way on the spool so that confused me lol

Dont overfil it. If you look at my baitcasting for Wrasse video i show myself using it there. Might help. Keep your casting smooth and not jerky that helps also.

@@TheConstantAngler so that worked but it's gotta be all the way up on both maybe I'm using the wrong kind of line? I've seen people no finger and cast super far I'm over here casting less than half the pod not understanding how they do it

+Kieran Roche when you turn the star wheel it clicks but it doesn't have a ratchet. if you pull line off it won't click.
