Let say, we have electrical shortage. Then we want to use our PC, automatically we will use our generator. Mostly generator's voltage fluctuated frequently start from 180volt to 300volt in a matter of second. So the problem is, how we design circuit that can protect our pc? Other than utilize my pc with voltage stabilizer.

Hello Dwi Cahyono The LM324 can grant your inquiry with its 4 gates. You can apply the low and high voltage protection stages including normal and circuit delay on each gate.

You can also add a motor driver to move a secondary coil to passively control the voltage...but I think an inverter could do the job too, to make the circuit to drive a capacitated rail and provide a sinewave that is steady. They make some inverters to work off of A/C and D/C at the same time...but by that money, may as well buy solar photovoltaics and make a thermal mass battery underground that can push steam into you converted combustion engine to steam engine driven by that thermal storage...cheaper than batteries and lasts as long as the pipe/tubing.

Wont a simple ziner diodes do the job too just use a ziner to the battery voltage so went the battery is full the the ziner diodes conduct and turn position voltage follows to the pnp turning it of and the same for low voltage use a valve to the low voltage to protect voltage ziner will stop conduct and the mosfets gate is pull down turning of the device

I made the circuit the relay trickling because the charging volt not constant 0.3v to 0.5v up down , so unable to set any particular point.need minimum 1v delay in to jump.

Hi Thanks for useful video. I wanna make protection circuit for 5volt supply to protect my microcontrollers, what's suitable "zener diode" for that? I'M BEGINNER Please, Answer soon as possible. its important to me. THANKS
@ahmad-firdauscook14522 жыл бұрын
I used a 6.2 zener for the low side..I installed mine backwards at first and wondered why it would work...my eyes are bad actually..but it works. I put the transistor output from the pnp's to all run into either a relay or mosfet to switch on/off the circuit. For my current protectiin my circuit was the positive side fuse I was replacing with the protection circuit, so I simply put put the output of 13 Into pin 9 to invert the (+} and give a negative to compare it to...I think some people may have better luck splitting circuit working voltage up and putting a chip in it that has a (+),(neutral)and (-)...this would give it much more range to work in...so I added a zener 9.2 1k resist, and an pnp to provide a more stable the reference, the circuit works like a charm.

Pretty sure this undervoltage circuit can start oscillating strongly if the input voltage has some impedance, right? Voltage is high enough -> load pulls down voltage -> undervoltage protection triggers -> input voltage goes back up -> ...
@ahmad-firdauscook14522 жыл бұрын
I tried something like the above protector but without the op amps, it does that very erratically, and when it has a short-circuited load on it, it would still stay engaged...So I will try this circuit next..But I think that's a normal function of these kinds of protection circuits due to the logic of it. The same if you used it to protect battery over-voltage or under-voltage, you'll want the circuit to re-engage or else the battery will be stressed needlessly.
@Basement-Science2 жыл бұрын
@@ahmad-firdauscook1452 One could add some hysteresis to prevent it in more cases (battery protection ICs do this), or even count the number of trips and stop after some number, etc.
