I got this exact syr belt for my purple. It's not bad. It's still stiff after 2 years. The syr tag is made of rubber and it eventually fell off. Will go for a Kaataro or eosin for brown

Kataaro are the best belts I own. I have a purple and now a brown belt and wouldn’t trade them for any other brand. 🤙🏽

Its a trip how much belts can go for, especially when u know what goes into them. Its usually just some webbing wrapped in cotton fabric. Ive been making my own for fun its actually pretty cool

does the knot on Kataaro stays pretty tight? thought about splurging on one of these since i'll be on this rank for awhile... got ambushed a week ago and was given my purple

Kampilan1 I use the Hollywood knot and it stays pretty tight. (Look up the Hollywood knot) while the belt is still new the knot slips a little bit, but as you roll it will soften up and the knot will stay.

Absolutely on point brother. I’ve bought at least 80 gi’s on my journey and shoyorol is very average.

Just got promoted to Black Belt 🥋 after 20 years in the game, just ordered my Kataaro. one of my buddies has one great belt. As far as Sho-yo-Roll I agree. Overrated in my opinion. Personally I like Hayabusa, their Gis have yet to disappoint me.

hey man this is a very comprehensive review, props for it, i ordered my Kataaro belt recently with a soft transition double core(Deluxe), I was wondering is the blue belt that you show on the video a siff or a soft core? thanks for posting this video bro, there are not too many reviews for kataaro belts, it is nice to see one so complete.

kkpisa it is a stiff core but it will soften up as you roll. Not as soft as a shoelace!

Haunted not broken in yet, holds pretty stiff, I’d say that the double core sleved(transition) is equivalent to a stiff core from any other branded

I get my Kataaro belt in a few days. I also like how Kataaro stiches the stripes on the black bar and will continue to add new stripes if you ship back.
